***This list offers a balanced format, in my opinion. I will explain what this will do to each deck.***


Lightsworn:

Most of their trump cards are being "nerfed". This isn't a personal attack on the deck itself (because I played it for 1+ years straight), but more because it is getting SLIGHTLY out of hand. Taking away one of each of their main cards, will limit their "sacking" options, and make them think before over-extending, and losing their solo Judgment Dragon. We all know, that Judgment Dragon is not the issue, however, Beckoning Light and Charge of the Light Brigade are the REAL issue. One gets the engine going, fueling your graveyard for OTK potency, while the other, turns your "ass hand", into that OTK potency. Beckoning Light is the ONLY card that can do that, and it becomes too much most times. All the others are to stabilize the deck, so it remains Tier 1, but there is more conserving, than relying on the above cards to win.

Blackwings:

Blackwings seem to be losing their previous "spark" in earlier SJC's. In any regard, they still have Black Whirlwind, which generates too much plus when drawn in multiples. We banned Pot of Greed, because it was an instant +1, with no cost. The same should go for Black Whirlwind, but to a lesser extent. Drawing 1 is bad enough, but combined with Sirocco/Shura/Bora, it just gives ANOTHER +1 the following turn, for nothing but a Normal Summon. They can still keep their Vayu/Gale/etc, at the cost of a single copy of a very advantageous card.

Zombies:

Burial is a card that offers Zombies a major OTK potency. Unless the opponent activates Roar/Waboku/Gorz/Tragoedia, it ALMOST guarantees game, when played under the right circumstances. At 2-3, people can abuse it most times, but at 1, it makes players conserve it until they are certain they have game. The reason not to limit Mezuki, is because it is useless at 1, but broken at 3. Two seems to be the perfect number for Mezuki, as you have to think about when to use Burial, and make damn sure it is for game when doing so. Also, Brionac offers OTK's on a platter for Zombies, so that being sent to the Limited list will make Zombie players think twice before bringing out right into a Bottomless Trap Hole.

On another note, Bottomless at 3 can stop all major decks in their tracks:

Prevent Black Whirlwind (1500+)
Prevent OTK with Mass Synchros (Except Stardust)
Makes Lightsworn think twice about bringing out their solo Judgment Dragon

Also, if Fissure is at 3, I suppose Smashing Ground should be as well. We need more diversity in this game, so give Gadgets a chance *wink*

Well, this is my first list, I assume it looks identical to most, though I haven't checked. Please no bashing, and tell me what you think :)

I believe you are right on Recharge, I forgot about DDraw *facepalm*
I strongly believe Beckoning Light will be hit in some way, only because it, in most cases, drastically can change a game state...

3 Problems with that.

1.You won't always have removal when they have honest/kalut

2.They'll always have more monsters then you have removal,this isn't even counting BWW or beckoning light.

3.Fissures/LV does nothing to honest/kalut during their turn.

I really don't think that there is a lot that needs to be changed. This format is pretty good right now. The only thing that I can see them doing is moving burial to 1 and maybe charge to 1 or 2. Judgment Dragon, in my opinion is fine, but if they move it to one I would understand why.

Putting Celestia to two does nothing because most lightsworn decks only run two. I really don't think that honest or kalut need to be touched they are fine.
