Team Storm (Part 10) - A New Storm

So one day this guy... Named Desert_Fox hooked up with a guy named Icemetroid and said... "Hey! Lets make a team and all that!" And since then.. This has happened..

We really love to make your sunny bright skies dark with with the storms we bring. Team Storm is a group of friends who love Pokemon and love to battle and enjoy the game. We don't want to get caught up in the drama of Pojo and won't accept those that do. If you want to join Team Storm, you must first battle and Admin or higher ranked member to test your skills. If you choose to not join and try to fight us, remember, it's always the calmest right before the storm!

New Rule: This is towards all future team storm members! You CANNOT join the team until you post in this thread, verify you have a pojo account and to have an additional way to contact you.

The Rules:
All Teams made by you must follow these rules and clauses when playing for/representing Team Storm.

- No Ubers (Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Latios, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all forms) Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai,Garchomp Arceus, Wobbuffet)
- Sleep Clause (You cannot use a sleep move on an enemy Pokemon if one or more of their party is already asleep.)
- No Hax Items (You cannot use the items "Quick Claw," "Focus Band," "Razor Claw," "Scope Lens," "Razor Fang," "King's Rock," "Brightpowder," or "Lax Incense.")
- Species Clause (You cannot use more than 1 of the same species of Pokemon in your team.)
- Evasion Clause (You cannot use moves that raise evasion, such as Double Team or Minimize.)
- OHKO Clause (You may not use moves that have a chance to one hit ko, such as Fissure)
- Explosion Clause (If both players go to 0 Pokemon at the same time, the controller of the move that KOed them loses. This is the case with Explosion, Self Destruct, Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Sandstorm, etc.)
- You are also allowed to use HGSS movesets.

Inactive Roster:

Team Suspension:
None

Leader/Vice Leaders: Leads our team and makes the final decisions. The leader decides if we will partake in wars and sets up all of our team tournaments. All test battles will be reported to these people and the final decision will be made by them. Can test new members. Can make the new team threads.

Admins: The "pros" of the team. These people achieved this status by proving they have sufficient knowledge of the game and can make wise predictions, design effecient teams, and have an overall high win record. Admins can test new members, and when they are through they report to the leader. Admins are allowed to make new team threads.

Elites: These are the people the admins and leaders have under watch to promote. They show great skill and are usually the people that have the hang of the game. Elites and Grunts are the main people we look to for participation in wars and team tournies.

Grunts: The "newbies" to the team. They may be the lesser skilled ones who are slowly learning to play competitively or the people who just joined who hadn't quite made it to admin level. If a Grunt shows hard work, they'll get bumped to an Elite.

Inactives: To be brought on this list you will have been inactive for two weeks with no word from you what so ever. Now if you warn us before time then thats different but just leaving and not saying a word is another. To get taken off this list you must be active for the same amount of time you were gone or roughly and if me and the Vice leaders feel you have been active long enough then you will be reinstated as a grunt.

Suspension: If placed on this list you will not be able to post on the team threads, team ladder thread, chat on the team Xat box or anything thing else Team Storm affiliated. If you do so you will be warned. After that you will be removed from the team indefinatly. Me and the other Vice leaders will determine the length and if there is any chances of ending it early or should you serve the term. Basically its jail lol. Once time or requirements are met then you will be brought back as a grunt. This applies for any rank. Myself included, which would be funny because I really dont do anything too bad =p.

Expulsion from the team: I felt this needed to be touched on. Ok there are a few ways to be expelled from the team. Nothing to easy to get you kicked off but you know... it could happen. So the first way is by being on the Suspension list and still breaking the policy this team has in place. Another way is dissapperaing from the site entirely.. Theres no point to keep you if your not on the site anymore lol. Just a little warning before you wonder why you arent on the team when your gone for like a year. =p

Rank Up:
In order to rank up on Team Storm, you must show good battling skills, maturity, improvement, activity on the team, etc. Some of course are more critical than others depending on the rank. If you ask to be ranked up, or say you should be ranked up, that decreases your chances of being ranked up. We don't want to be bombarded with rank up requests, we rank members up as we see fit and that's how it is until further notice.

Evaluation Meetings:
The Leader and the Vice leaders will meet every two weeks or whenever we feel is needed to evaluate each member. We will look at activity, behavior and recent battling. The team ladder will be assesed in this evaluation so if we feel you have been in a slump but you can pull through then we wont penalize you. When battling in the team ladder use a team that is your best or around there because we will look at that highly to determine the final verdict. Even so we may feel you should still be where you are but might not promote you.

To make it on our war roster or to become a sub, you must show they you belong in the top 5-7 members of our team. In addition, we will add people as necessary who show increasing skill to see if they deserve not only a "perminant" spot on our war roster, but potentially a rank up.

On a different note, we should probably start finding some new peeps for the team; we've been loosing a lot lately. If you guys know anybody on here (like who's also asking for battles on the battle request forum) that doesn't have a team, maybe ask them about considering it?

Also, Umbreon, you're in charge of our xat so we have that all straightened out. You and I will also discuss any wars we plan on starting (like maybe against team blade).
