Berries

I am sure you can get Berries in FR/LG but I haven't seen a Berry tree yet, so can you NOT get them or what?

I think you have to trade with Ruby and Sapphire or Colosseum.

"The berries are only obtainable through Wild Pokemon, a Berry Man, or trading from Ruby/Sapphire/Colosseum

You can pick a berry(Persim I think) up right by the entrance to Mt. Moon. If you don't have an Itemfinder, you need to search by 3 rocks.

I did pre-order from Target, and can't get the game until Sunday Sept 12. So I got a strategy guide to at least see who could be on my team. Anyway, the guide said you can "pickup" berries when battling.

Some Pokemon have berries you can steal or get when you capture them. Other berries are hidden around places. Check the garbages in the kitchen of the S.S. Anne for 3 different berries.
