I like the game so far. I like the changes they made the the original music. And after watching those damn "flashbacks" two times, I'm already annoyed

No. Everytime you turn your game back on, before you can continue where you last left off, it'll show you flashbacks of events you completed

It's a waste of seconds for me. The only time I could enjoy that feature is when I haven't played the game in a long period of time, the flashbacks can remind me of what I did last

That flashback thing is annoying. I press the B button though and it cuts it off.

The other thing is that I keep hitting the darn left/right buttons and then get some help screen which is pretty annoying since I'm used to holding the SP a certain way and now I have to be aware of the stupid buttons that never did anything in previous versions.

All in all though I like the game a lot so far. I picked charmander and have a pidgeotto and mankey too. I beat the second gym (Misty) so far and got the S.S. Anne ticket. I'll probably play more tomorrow.

Just train Squirtle untill it learns bite. Starmie is weak to that.

It's in that grass area to the west of Viridian City. You can also battle Gary around there. Keep searching for Mankey. It takes awhile, but I eventully found/caught one

Loving it, once you get the Vs Seeker, the game becomes so easy.
Bike+trainers you can easily beat= extremely fast level up
you can even use it to ev train.
EDIT: The sandshrew problem is finally fixed, yay!

It's the new way of rebattling trainers, every 100 steps you can use the vs seeker(after you get it) and rebattle almost any trainer on the screen.

My point was, Magmar isn't in fire, he's just in leaf. Grass is in both and char is in both.

But Magmar was in Blue, and not Red either. Pokemon Fire Red contains all the exclusive Red did and Leaf Green contains all of the exclusives that Blue did. Meowth WAS only in Blue. I know that cos I only had Red and coudln't catch one. Then Yellow came out but I still couldn't get one. it wasn't until Silver or Crystal came out that I was finally able to catch the frickin cat and trade it over. That was at least 2 years I had to wait! :eek:

Well, I FINALLY got it, and I luv it. Although I don't enjoy it as much as previous Pokemon games (gettin kinda burned out on it) it's still a lotta fun. Too bad my GB SP burned out before I got to save after beating Brock :(
