READ BEFORE POSTING!
When requesting a Middleman you must provide the following:
What the trade deal is between you and your partner
A Profile link to your partners profile
Where the trades are being taken place from (what country, city, state, planet, whatever the destination has to go to).
FAQ:
Q: Why should I do a Mod trade?
A: Because Mod Trading prevents you from getting ripped off (While being quite affordable). No matter how many refs the other person has, doing a Mod trade is always recommended on expensive trades (Or where the items are of a certain value to you).
Q: How exactly does a Moderator Middle Man trade work?
A: As for how the trade is conducted, here are the steps:
The trade is confirmed between yourself and the partner (Stating that a middleman is going to be involved).
The middleman then confirms that he or she will accept the deal.
Both addresses are exchanged with the trade partners then exchanged with the middleman.
Both people send out to the middleman, and include a small fee to compensate for shipping/costs (Which they'll tell you when confirming).
Once the middleman receives both ends and inspects them, he/she will send them out to their destinations.
Once you receive, you ref the middleman and the person you were trading.
The middleman will then ref you once both sides have received their respective end (See below to clarify the whole reference exchange).Q: When a middleman trade has been completed do I get refs from the middleman and the person I traded with or just the person I confirmed the trade with?
A: Typically, everybody gets 2 refs (If all was successful)
Person A refs Person B and the Middleman.
Person B refs Person A and the Middleman.
Middleman refs Person A and Person B.
Q: What is a Recommeded User?
A: Simply put, it's a user that is not a Moderator who has the privilege to do Mod trades. You may apply to be one if you have 180+ iTrader. PM Parallel Fates. This is to help traders understand how to use the delivery confirmation service offered by the US Post Office...
1) It is prefferable to use a padded envelope. A 4in x 7in (10.16cm x17.78cm) size will suffice in most trades.
2) An envelope must be at least 3/4in in width (thickness) to qualify. Something like a wadded piece of paper can be used if necessary.
3) Please remember that a padded envelope is required to be rated as a parcel and NOT a large envelope.
Having the padded envelope not rated propperly may cause it to arrive marked as "POSTAGE DUE" to your trading partner.
Following these guidelines will only cost the sender less than an extra $1.
