So we had this tonight and...

it was a lot of fun

Kinda annoying when some people take it too seriously,
but every game something would happen that made me bust out laughing
I was playing Supers btw

Round 1 vs commons
My opponent tries to Yata Lock me
I summon Cyber Valley as my only out and he had no answer. I drew into monsters and end up winning

Round 2
I play vs common chain burn
Game 1
He goes desserts, secret barrel, ojama trio, chain detonation, chain strike
I drop Hanewata
The 1 copy of MAIN DECKED Hanewata I ran
ROFLOL
Game 2
He has 5 sets
I breaker
Break
He chain links 2-6
He's like game
I'm like nope, chain link 7, hallowed life barrier

Round 3
game 1 and 2 are tight vs Curtis Bowles amazing Super level 1 / Dark World/ Norleras control
seriously the deck was amazing
he gets so much plus off triple kinka byo/triple valley/ disk comm, its nuts
so game 3,I opened confi/dustshoot so he Norleras resets fairly early (I did some damage with a monarch though), he draws valley, ends
I set merchant end
He plays Mirage of Nightmare, ends
I draw mother******* Councellor Lily
He draws his 4
I flip merchant and hit Painful
Painful for 3 Raiza, Mind, Brain (he's at 2400)
He gives me Brain, I sack merchant+valley+lily for Android for game, ROFL

It was the most fun I've had playing in quite a while
I can't wait for next week
I want to try every rarity out
This week was SUPER RARE, but I really want to try out RARE, COMMON and HOBBY rarities (and ULTRA since I can borrow a cyber stein)

Did decent, had much fun though.

Its a great place to see plays that you would never expect to see in a tournament setting, so the novelty in each match is pretty high.

But yeah, some people I met still can't stop being ultra-competitive, Sirlin quoting dchbags.

.

Hanewata won me 2 games and Councellor Lily won me a game so I can definitely appreciate that statement

Glad you had fun!

(And if anyone ever asks why there aren't specific prizes just for Pegasus League, it's to help prevent people from being ultra-competitive.)

Had a lot of fun though I got beaten by someone more experience. I gotta get used to this but it's a nice change. :)

What rarity is the easiest to run? Commons?

Depends what you mean by 'easiest'.

To build? Commons.

To win with? Well, I'm not so sure. Super has advantages, soley because of the D-Hero Engine + Disk Commander.

But really, that's the beauty of the format, in that you'll see stuff that's completely unexpected.

I'll be honest, people still seemed to be too competitive

I'd actually recommend changing the end-of-month structure to top 8 gets 2 bonus turbo packs each

Also I have some crazy ideas for future Pegasus leagues, if you guys want to hear them

(why has this moved to Pegasus deck discussion? I'm NOT discussing decks)

Maybe Ultras too since BLS/CED are both ultras? Just find good light/dark Ultra rares. Or even secret rares... you can even include Yata

ultras are the best, they have the brokenness ****.

but common are the most versatile and can be the best if build/played right.

i'd like to know that decklist for dw/norleras otk...i tried looking for cards for the deck and realized that the only DW cards that comes in supers are golld, dwds and dwls...

so i just went for a traditional deck instead which is posted..

i ran an -ultra-twilight deck, had a lot of fun, also IMO ultra rare decks are pretty broken for this format,i think people play ver competitive for -the end of the the league turbo packs- and is pretty awesome play against cards like yata garazu and the other forbbiden cards,i haven't seen any of this cads for like 5 years or something like that...

Probably the most fun I've had in a while at a locals. Got bored with the overpowering awesomeness of Super Rare and decided to run ScR. Pretty fun.

I thank you guys for that! I'm running Scientist FTK, First duel I played a blackwings deck, I was thinking it was gunna be ultra competitive myself, but we ended up laughing and just having fun. Next Duel I played a Toon Deck! I loved it, it's such a great format. GJ konami, not to mention the duelist league is great for little kids to aquire cool prizes.
