Okay, so this is the 3rd time they've remade Kanto, Hoen is just too recent to be remade, but what about Johto? Most Pokefans agree that the best out of the three is Johto, and its true, in my opinion. So, why not Johto?

Yeah, I loved Johto. I don't want them to just remake all of the old Pokemon games.. I want new Pokemon games. I mean, Fire Red/ Leaf Green is going to be awesome, but I just want an all new adventure after this.

They are probably working on it now in Japan...

I agree. The metalic series was the best out of the three. They should have just remade them and forgot about the first, just include Kanto in the remake and make the games more challenging. What do you say?

Yes I'd like for them to re-make Johto too. That's my favorite region. But they're probably going to re-make Yellow into Thunder Yellow first. I've been hearing about that game... but back to the Johto games, I wonder what they'll re-name them to be

Id say Vibrant Gold and Hollow Bronze. But those are my ideas.

But what about Pokemon Silver? If they're to re-make Pokemon Silver, they probably going to at least include the word "silver" in its title

Well, they're not re-making Blue, are they? FireRed and LeafGreen.

Well I thought they were going to make Water Blue instead of Leaf Green because America never got Pokemon Green. But unless they're trying to make more money off of people, I don't see the point in them re-making Pokemon Blue

Sterling Silver?That's my guess....

I liked Johto the best but I think that Kanto has the strongest Pokemon.

Well I can't think of anything better. Hard to come up with a re-make title for Silver

Kanto also has the most legendaries. I was surprised at the number of legendaries

I want them to quit making the re-makes and start making some new adventures! That would be sweet!

Well they're probably going to get to that. Just not before they do re-makes and make some big money! Nintendo is all-business:D

Actually, a game in which you are Ash and travel through ALL of the regions would be awesome.

Yep, that's a game I've been thinking of since Ruby/Sapphire first came out last year

Minus being Ash would be perfect.I mean, wouldn't it be boring getting like 5 badges handed to you? :p

One of the favorite things about G/S/C was the Day and Night. I thought that was awesome.

I know. They didn't even have the graphic features in R/S

Do you really want another 100+ Pokémon? C'mon, 386 is too much.

Somewhat as Pokemon Crystal to G/S

SpringChocobo

Pokemon Yellow hardly had any new features, Crystal had somewhat more, and Emerald is probably just how good a remake can get, which means it's the best out of the 3.

between Ru/Sa, Col., and FR/LG, we will be able to finally "catch them all" (with some of the event exclusives, mew, etc). we could use a better RPG on the gamecube that would run through all 4 regions (kanto, johto, hoen, and orre). THAT would be the best, and it would have to be on the gamecube, because i do not believe that there is enough memory on GBA packs for something like that.

That RPG thing is a good idea. And as for the GBA games not having enough memory, well once the Nintendo DS comes out, maybe there will be a DS pokemon game with enough memory to allow us to play through 3 regions(kanto, johto, and hoenn)

If the new games let us play from Johto through Hoen then it's gotta be fun.Prabably the game designer should set up the the pokemon level to like 70-100 when you play against the elite four but it takes a long time from a LV 5 to LV 100.The ruby/sapphire game ends too fast and it should be like gold-crystal so that you can play from Johto back to Kanto.

Speaking of G/S/C, that reminds me... in those games after you completed the Johto region and obtained a ticket to go to Kanto, you notice the gym leaders there have such high level pokemon. It makes me wonder how a beginning pokemon trainer can manage to obtain even one badge facing off against gym leaders with pokemon well over level 40(I think that's correct)

Eh, I thought the metallic series was the worst, but it doesn't look like most people agree with me.
-.-;;;

I wouldn't mind having johto make a comeback, but the nine islands in FR/LG are much better than johto was, IMO.

The game won't be like that at the beginning, it's only for meta-games and end games.

Waaaaaaaay on back, there was a thread about a pokeon MMORPG that simply had to be made. We even made a petition for it.

I still think THAT should be the the... fifth generation of the pokemon franchise.

Dig around to find it. I forget where it is exactly.

It's not that old. But it is a good idea. Should have ALL the regions.

Where is Orre?

It's an island off the coast of Hoen. The only game it's appeared in so far is Pokemon Colleseum.

Well there will be a new series of pokemon games. Surely a lot of you know about Gonbe, the pre-evolution of Snorlax?

This suggests that there will be a new games in which to obtain it, along with another 100+ new pokemon. I for one am slightly disappointed if this is just gonna be another chance for nintendo to release loads of rubbish 'cute' pre-evolved 'mon. Afterall who here actually USED Elekid, Magby, Pichu, Tyrogue, Smoochum or the other baby pokemon in their real team? I know I didn't. At least R/S only had 2 baby pokemon Azuril and Walrut, and at least they had some unique features to thier parents, such as useful attacks or a different type. Hopefully this time they will design new USEFUL pokemon this time with many unheard of type combos. That would be good.

EDIT: For more info on Gonbe go here: http://www.serebii.net/pokemon-new/

LOL! Didn't like Kanto? Well since it's a re-make, it's bound to still have the Kanto region in it. I liked Kanto. Kanto being included made G/S a much longer game(which might be the only reason I liked having the Kanto region included)

There should be more challenges in FR/LG then the old red, yellow and blue.Doesn't the game got any new maps in FR/LG?
