I quit right after the third installment of the Time Spiral block. I got bored last night and played in the Zendikar draft, doing pretty good, 4-1 in swiss, lost in top 8 with mono green. I wound up thinking about playing again and I heard G/W is insanely good right now? Any help would be appreciated :).

Im thinking of buying a booster box of Zendikar, would it be a wise investment? Any help on Mono Green would be appreciated.

Mono-Green doesn't seem to be too "competitive". Right now almost all the big decks are R, B, or W-based.

But if you want to go mono-Green, Zendikar certainly would help. You get all sorts of big fatties, including Terra Stomper and Baloth Woodcrasher at uncommon. Oh, and Harrow.

Zendikar also has quite a few cards in it that are valuable, many of which will retain their value for years to come (points at Fetchlands).
