Introduction:

Being one of the older teams to see the Pojo battling circuit, Team Zeal [and Team Eclipse now absorbed into it has a long history of success. Hurdles and obstacles have stood valiantly in the face of Zeal and they have all been overcome. Now being reborn in the fires of flame wars and bad drama, the new stronger, refreshed Team Zeal is even more zealous than ever!

Team Requirements

Teams created by you must follow these rules: No Ubers (Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Latios, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all forms), Garchomp, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, Arceus, Wobbuffet) Sleep Clause (You cannot use a sleep move on an enemy Pokemon if one or more of their party is already asleep.[this is negated if you use moves such as sleep talk and assist where you have no control over the move being used.]) No Hax Items (You cannot use the items "Quick Claw," "Focus Band," "Razor Claw," "Scope Lens," "Razor Fang," "King's Rock," "Brightpowder," or "Lax Incense.") Species Clause (You cannot use more than 1 of the same species or fome of Pokemon in your team.) Evasion Clause (You cannot use moves that raise evasion, such as Double Team or Minimize.[again, negated by moves such as accupressure]) Self KO Clause (If both players go to 0 Pokemon at the same time, the controller of the move or item that KOed them loses. This is the case with Explosion, Self Destruct, Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Sandstorm, Life Orb etc.) OHKO Clause (You may not use moves that have a chance to one hit ko, such as Fissure) Soul Dew Clause (You cannot use the item "Soul Dew.") Battles will be played in a Single lv. 100 with microphones muted, changes are of course allowed if both participants agree.

Admins Admins help with the running of the team and are there to cover for the leader in his absence. They may create a new thread in the leader's absence.

Elites Elites are members who are very active, has had a positive impact on this team by such great behavior, and has proven themselves to be an excellent battler.

Warriors Warriors are defined as members who are active, has not been a problem behaviorally, and has proven themselves to be a good battler.

Grunts These are the new recruits or members that are declining in skill and activity. Grunts are unproven, and have a long way to go. Some say they smell, but I believe it is all relative to the individual.

War
The War Roster MMN wilechase Sneakpeek The only way into the current 4v4 war roster is "Dead man's boots." If you are found to be consistently outperforming one of the members here, you will be assigned their spot in wars. Please note that this is not testing your ability to hax or spam your way through opponents, but rather your relative skill levels. Please do not spam these threads, but feel free to post - but not too free, and remember, Big Brother is watching you, Since Nineteen Eighty-Four O.O

Just tested Guttabattler. He's an interesting battler, who seemed to have a very good understanding of movesets and stragegy. There weren't hacks in the game at all so it showed his overall skill. I won 2-0. only thing i can say to improve on is choice of pokemon, since a few members of his team seemed not to do much. Still a very fun game good job.

I just tested Poloboy. He won the game 3-0. I liked this game because the haxs didn't matter, the only one parahax didn't effect the game. He showed good prediction, and great skill. There's not much left to say but GG :).
This guy is a little better than the rest of the testess's i've faced, and deserves to be in this team :D.

Well, the problem is that people aren't active enough, and a tourney would drag on and on, people would start flaming, accusing each other of this and that etc..

It's just too complicated. Now, while I admit you are a good battler, synchrolord, you aren't the War Roster type yet. Just keep battling and gain experience

Alright yall.. So I have decided to ask Storm to war first. I did this mainly because I feel that we need to heavily evaluate our talent. For this reason, I may decide to exclude Admins and above from participating in this war, simply because I believe it isn't necessary to our success and I'm looking to evaluate talent in this war. I already know we have talent at the Admin rank, I'm looking to see if we have any diamonds at Grunt and Warrior. Any opinions on that is welcome.

Either way, I'm probably going to look for some sort of democratic way to give every Grunt, Warrior, and Elite an equal opportunity to be on the war (or substitutions) roster. I'm considering some kind of tournament. I need feedback gentlemen. Get back to me.

If there are alot of our roster trying to be in the war; then a shrot fast tournament doesn't sound bad.

In any event, this is to all Elites and below: To be on the war roster, you must prove yourself to be both talented and active. For this reason, the tournament will not have set rounds like a normal tournament. I will create a thread for the tournament in a bit.

The R4 is a DS-sized cartridge with a slot that uses a Micro SD card. The Micro SD card can interact with your PC like a flash drive using a Micro SD USB utility that comes with the R4. All you need to do is put anything you want on your R4 into the Micro SD card, then put the Micro SD card in your R4, which goes in your DS.

You can put as much on your R4 as the space available on your Micro SD card. They come as small as 1 GB, and I've seen them go up to 32 GB (probably even higher)

For all that have been having trouble with the HG and SS roms there is a new patch it was supposed to fix it but its not quite there yet maybe in a day or two they will get it, it does reduce the game freezes but they still happen so save often :), it seems that is nintendo's new anti piracy whats causing the games to crash on flashcarts and even more on the emulators.

and the first english patch is out. only menus, items, moves and pokemon names have been translated.no dialog yet but thats v1 so we will have to see if someone does the chore. PM me if you want to know how to get them or whatever. preferably contact me on aim :)
