Using older basic lands and things that have been reprinted?

Are we allowed to use older versions of basic lands in type 2?

Also, for example, since Birds of Paradise has been reprinted in M10, I have to use that version instead of a Tenth Edition version in type 2 right? o_o

Yep, that's allowed. If a card is legal in a format, then all older versions of that card can be used. The only Forests I ever use are from Invasion.

Also, no gold-bordered cards or anything with different backs (like ones that read Collector's Edition/International Edition).
