Affinity and Goblin bidding are two of the best decks out right now. Affinity would probably be easiest to assemble, though it does require four 25 dollar cards, four 8 dollar cards, and four 6 dollar cards. But that isn't toooo much. ^_^ It took me three weeks to get every card I needed for my affinity deck, except three Chrome Moxes($25 Each).

A google search on any of these will explain further.

Blue/White Control
Goblin/Bidding
Affinity
Red/Green Land Destruction
Mono Black Control
Elves maybe not a powerful deck type, but fun to play.

all others are more of a variation of the above except for combo decks that well duh rely on the focused combo to win.

now for extended these you will have to go find on your own there are decks everywhere if you look for them I really can't tell you what will be popular in the future because of all the recent bannings they just did. I think goblin charbelcher will still be used.

the easiest deck to throw together is elves because it works just as good without any rares.... the best tier one deck to throw together is affinity, because it is cheap.... goblin/bidding, and blue/white control are the other tier one decks...

elf likes around tier 2 or 3...

in small tournaments elf can easily win because they are less serious, but anything big, and a tier one deck usually takes it...
and if you play affinity at a little torunament it gets boring...

Try and build almost any of the decks that pass as stereotypical 'good' and play them against an experienced player that knows what he or she is doing and you will get crushed.

A regional/state/world championship deck title doesn't make it a good deck, the player does.

Learn and experiment, not cut corners.
