Hey everyone! Wow, didnt expect me to like pokemon, did you? :p Alright, I need some suggestions. I loved old school pokemon games back when it was Red, Blue, Silver, Gold. I havent played Ruby or Sapphire, aside from messing around on my brothers file. Thing is, this game is attracting to me because of how similar it is to Red and Blue, which IMO were the best pokemon games of all time. Alright, heres the problem, I DO NOT have a GBA SP yet, and I dont have any money. So do you think I should just wait till Christmas or what? And do you recommend this game to me???

Also, whats the deal with Deoxys. Some people say you need a special
E-Reader card to get to the Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys islands, and some disagree, so what is it???

fr/lg can be played on a GBA, so you don't have to buy an SP. if you don't have either, either save your money, or find a good buy. my sister bought one for only $40

as for the info, serebii.net

Thats the problem though, Serebii says nothing of having to use the e-reader for the 2 boat tickets(as far as I know), while others say you do need to get them through E-reader....Meh, might as well use an action replay to get both tickets.

The two tickets will probably be e-cards at some sort of promotional event or given away with some magazine or whatnot. I think for most it'll be time to whip out the Action Replay/Gameshark w/e if anyone badly wants Lugia and Deoxys.
