This is only my second team, and I've only played 1 actual game, so be nice.

Vet Taskmaster 75pts
Vet Lizard 50pts
Exp Hawkeye 60pts
Exp Bullseye 31pts
Rok Sidewinder 24pts
Rok Jean Grey 31pts
Rok Destiny 20pts
Rok Paramedic 8pts

Total 299

Now Taskmaster can use the Ultimates, SS, Brotherhood, and Xmen team abilities to see anywhere, go anywhere, move for free, or maybe heal himself. The idea is to hit with Hawkeye and Bullseye first while moving Taskmaster and Lizard into position. Destiny is clearly there for Probability Control, Jean to move Hawkeye then Medic, and Sidewinder is there for Leadership. If I make that roll I can tk Hawkeye, he can shoot, Bullseye can move, Lizard can move, and Taskmaster can move off of one turn.

Anyway, mostly I've got most of the Ultimates and Universe with some Indy, one pack of DC, and some older Marvel stuff. What needs fixin'? I was thinking about a flyer, but I don't know what to take out.

Well, if you find a good flier, such as Deathbird or Phoenix (ultimates version) then I would try to fit them in.

Figures that can go to make room...?? Lizard, Destiny and/or Sidewinder! Between those 3 figs, you can play around with 94 points. Thats a HUGE number for a 300 pt team.

Try to find a offensive minded flier and use them. The more offense on a team, the more it will make up for bad rolls. When all of your offensice pieces hold a 10+ attack value, you wont need to be rerolling much anyways. Thats why I always preach using figures with high attack values. The higher the attack value, the lower the number needed from your dice, the less of a chance you'll miss on those attacks.

Filling points with useful abilities is nice, but when you have a team full of firepower, you'll feel more secure about your chances of winning. Knowing that your teamcan strike for 8-10 clicks of damage on any given turn is a great feeling...

why ya dissing lizard? he's a decent clic for 50pts he's not bad at all, buy yea i guess if you take out all those guys you'll be able to fit somthing much better in, i'd recoment uphrading bulleye and hawkeye and downgrading taskmaster to exp, and getting some1 with some defensive ability that taskmaster could mastermind off to

Well thanks for the input. I do have Phoenix from Ultimates as well as Iron Man. I was looking at both of them, just didn't decide to put them in. I was also looking at Vet Rogue. 88pts for Charge, 10atk, Invunrabilty, and 3 damage is pretty nice. Then steal energy for most of the rest of her dial should come in handy, but without the range I think I'll pass. Either way though I talked to my buddy this morning, and next time we're playing we're going for 500pts so I'm gonna rebuild completly. Vet Beast from Ult. worked good last time, so did Punisher. I think I wanna play LE Magneto though. Pheonix and Ironman might find their way to the table, but I don't know. I'll have to look at these tonight. Thanks again for the help.
