First try at White/Blue Aggro

Right, before people jump the gun and say it's a pretty nooby deck, I am a relative newcomer to the game and I'm trying to build something fairly competetive, yet I'm on a budget. I would in time like to add Elspeth, maybe Jace Beleran.

How would you go about improving this bearing in mind a low budget? I'd also like to stay away from the Lorwyn block since it'll rotate out before too long.

Well, this is only a small budget immediately. Things like Honor of the Pure can be added in at a later date when I have more cash to spend or when I have store credit to spend from winning Yugioh tournaments :p. What would you recommend taking out for them?

-3 Vedalken Outlander (best suited for the board)
+3 Ethercaste Knight

-3 Lapse of Certainty (It just isn't that great!)
-2 Safe Passage (Once again, for the board)
-1 Ardent Plea
+2 Path to Exile
+4 Aven Squire (Yeah +Exalted!)

-4 Stormfront Pegasus

Thanks for the help. Yeah, most things like, Lapse of certainty and Safe Passage were put in there because of lack of budget and wanting to fill spaces. I agree, Safe Passage would be better off in the side, as would Vedalken Outlander. I decided to main them based on my local meta, which is flooded by Red decks or decks with some splashed red to abuse Lightning Bolts and stuff, lol.

If you're that worried about red decks, use BFT or Mark of Asylum.
