LET's work people let's altogether think of a strategy to win at nationals we can give ideas to each other together and build the ultimate deck think about it
First off what should the deck go for

or not, how about everyone runs his/her own deck. if we all use the the same deck then there would be no point of playing the in tournament. SO YOUR IDEA DOESN'T WORK.

I'm with Clank on this one. If we start posting our deck ideas for the Nationals all we do is give other players ways to stop our decks.
Can the Lich use exaust action cards? and can he be targeted by cards that state hero as the target.
I say no to both but just want to make sure.

you are right, it is in the comp rules. obstacle can't be targetted by anything (it is not even a hero), and can't use exhaust action cards.. this one doesn't even block.

Bit harsh guys obviously the guy is new to Huntik and is just looking for a little advice, it's not exactly going to hurt and pretty much anyone who plays the game will be running the same decks kind of.
I'd start with the minors, good minors for this mission will be anything with 3def+ as you can just block the movement of their lich and with his meh attack of 2 hes not getting past without the help of combat such as strikemode, warrior stance and slamcannon or without a major/minor helping him out.
Majors and actions will be what varies between people decks. I can't help you here as I haven't even bothered looking at my Majors and Actions for the mission =p

Thank you Jack. That means my deck can stay as it is. We played the mission on Monday and my opponent used exaust action cards with his Lich even with me telling him he couldn't.
I started to think I had to make some changes to my deck but I'm ok.
Perhaps Smakrat is right. But I still don't like giving away the details of my deck.
But just to join in here are my tips:
I think we will see a lot of 3+ defence and as many 4+ attack titans as possible and action cards that increase attack values all to work against the lich. Cards that allow you to draw cards sound like a good idea as you can then increase the number of tokens on your lich. You get to use the effect of a card and draw one to then use that to get a token.

well, i don't mind helping people out if the question was: what would be a good idea for the national mission.. but the question was more like why don't we all pool our ideas together to build one super special awesome deck (i watch too much ygo abridge series recently)... that is a no no... if he want ideas, I am more than happy to share. all i can say is, simulate the game a couple of times (or ten) and you will find a recurring theme... both the lich is very likely to be stuck in zone 3 for a while, meaning everything gets a +2 atk and -2 def pretty much.. draw your own conclusions there.. i got mine.
