I want to make an Angel Deck

I know how to play the game, and I want to get into it again. I used to use a mono green deck, but took a hiatus from the game and sold most of my cards. Can anyone post a list or link me to one that i can copy and make changes to? I'm not a very skilled MTG deckbuilder (I am for YGO lol), so i need a skeleton to work from. I saw some cool angels from the newest few sets. I want this to be good, but not too expensive, more casual. If anyone could direct me what to buy that would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also had the same intention with Angels and Dragons which are indeed powerful creatures, the only problem is that they have a very high mana cost, so basically you wont be able to drop those creatures until the game is to advanced.

What I want to say is: what could "Baneslayer Angel" possibly do in turn 10 against 3 or 4 creatures and a lot of mana to play removals on your Angel ?

So Angels as a tribal in Standard or Extended formats are a NO WAY.

Angels on Vintage and Legacy still have a chance, bur many cards for those formats are to expensive or really hard to get, so maybe its not going to be easy to play those.

If you want to play angels, you could also try to play a deck of any other thing and put some Angels just to be your final sweepers.

I'm going to give you a few options to build around.

1. Mono-white control with Angels as your finishers.

2. Green/White Elf Ramp to play your angels ASAP. Powerful, but fragile to board sweepers.

3. Angel Tribal (by far the hardest to build -- will look kinda similar to mono-white control)

-Replace Wrath with Rout
-Replace Exalted Angel with Battlegrace Angel

a friend of mine helped me build a mono-white angel token deck

the key cards in this deck is:
Sigil of the Empty Throne 4x
Messa Enchanter 4x
Oblivion Ring 4x
Pacifism 4x
Prison Term 4x
Curse of Chains 4x
Holy Strength 4x
a bunch of white fogs (ie. safe passage, holy day, etc.)
and
Open the Vaults 4x


if you have money to dish out, all aren't that expensive, and its a real fun deck to play with, I'm also thinking about editing it to make it one of my many competitive decks. But it's fun none-the-less. hopes this helps.

IDK if they are still printing but you can try buying the Devine vs. Demonic 2 player set or you can at least look up a decklist and you can find some ideas with that.
