This is something I'm going to start doing now, and I have a BIG, important question.
The cards that exists in the 8th Edition... I have some of these, but they're older. It's the same cards, just... ...older. Will I be able to use these???

One thing of no small note. Remeber that you cant use the world championship deck cards in the deck. Even in sleeves they are considered to not be legal.

You can use any edition of any card if the card's most recent edition is in a legal set in the format you're playing it in. For example, in Type 2, if wanted to play with a Coat of Arms, you could play with a Coat from either 8th and/or 7th and/or Exodus.
One quick thing on Alpha cards. Because they have rounder edges than cards from other sets, if you are playing with a mixture of non alpha and alpha cards, your whole deck must be sleeved. If you are playing a whole deck with all Alpha or no Alpha cards, your deck doesn't have to be sleeved. Hope this helps!

u have to sleeve alpha cards cuz they are more rounded at the sides

You never seen Alpha cards?? You are missing out....They are so nice...Don't let anyone tell you they look plain...C'mon now, a Black Lotus or an Ancesstral Recall is plain?...Never!!
