Does anyone else wish they would restructure the stats of some of the underused pokemon to make teams more diverse. Id love it if they gave some power boost and some nerfed.

It would be interesting to see different stats on old Pokes. Like how they restructured IVs after R/S/FR/LG and redid them for Emerald/DPPt.

Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, and LeafGreen used the same EV/IV system as the rest of the 3rd and 4th gens. Perhaps you meant R/B/Y/G/S/C?

Anyway, to stay on topic, don't expect any changes to any Pokemons' base stats in Hg/Ss, but for the fifth gen of Pokemon, anything could be possible.

I thought that the IVs of the older games (R/S/FR/LG) were different than the newer ones (games after Emeralrd)? I thought that they were changed when you transfered Pokemon from the older games to the new ones.

And, back on topic, I really don't think they will change the base stats of any Pokemon even if/when a new generation comes out. What I expect is that they will make changes to abilities or moves to make things more balanced.

Nope. IVs and EVs in R/S/FR/LG work exactly the same way as in E/D/P/Pt.

I don't think any Pokémon's base stats have ever changed other than when the special stats were split, and I don't expect they ever will outside of new forme changes.

I found what I was mistaken on. IVs through breeding are determined differently in E and DPPt than they were in RS and FR/LG.

Actually, that's correct. The Everstone trick, as well as IV inheritance, were updated in the transition.

Another thing that I had kinda forgotten about, neat.
