So I've been preparing for this since last month, I finally finished my Black Feather deck for the most part. Good news it was done friday, bad news is I didn't get more than 2 cards for my Extra Deck in time. So heres the deck list I printed out last night.

(Here comes the boring pre-tournament stuff)
So last night I didn't get to sleep until 4 or 5 (granted that's normal for me XD), but then I woke up at 6:30 (definitely not normal for me).
So I wake up, got some soda, started listening to my MP3's of Tsume Tsume Tsume (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwCYxzVMqY0) and Last Train (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW4OCA3ZlOI) while at my computer to fully wake up.
*boring getting ready to go cut because it's boring*
OK, leave the house around 9ish and then on the way there we kept hitting nearly every red light between here and there....
NOW the Tournament stuff starts!
I finally get there around 10 and just barely get registered and get my COSSY in time. In the down time before the first round I go around trying to trade, No luck. I almost get some Synchro Monsters then I hear the announcement...
"Pairings for Round 1 are now up!"
I thought "Oh $#!+....."
Round 1:
I was up against morphtronics, My opponent had weird arms (birth defect or something, I don't know) so I was a bit nervous about him cutting my deck but the game itself went fine.
First round I was doing good up until a bad draw, he won round one. Rounds 2 and 3 I ended up winning.
I'm probably going to hell for saying this.. But anyone else notice the irony that the guy with claws is running a deck that's called "deformers" in japan? No offence, I mean good job for overcoming adversity like that (then again, Yu-Gi-Oh isn't a physical game), but I just notice the irony of that.
And now the down time.
More attempts at failed trading then I decided to check out the vendor table, I asked how much Gold Series 2 was and it was $18, I thought I heard wrong but it was right, 25-30 dollar pack for 18? SOLD!
Pulls: Mind Control, Test Tiger, Prime Material Dragon and of course all the commons.
Round 2: Pairings go up and I notice I'm at 17, I was thinking "17? I was sent there based on rank!?", something that never would have happened with my old spellcaster deck. I was up against hopeless dragon. It was doing good up until he kept getting out 2 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Then that really screwed me, I forget the rest of it but I remember I lost. I do remember with the help of my good friends gale the whirlwind I got a Five God Dragon down to 313 attack.
More downtime and failed trading not worth talking about, although there was a very important lesson I had to learn..... Where to find the facilities XD ...
Round 3 it's my first mirror match of the day, But unfortunately for me he had synchro monsters... Like more than two... Luckily I could compulse, first game I lost from not being able to end the duel from not having a DSF, Although I did compulse his back. Second one I thought he had 5000 or 6000 something and switched my sangan to defense... But it turns out my last attack left him at 100..... I probably should have asked life points.. But I was down in the real low department (about or under 1000) so I didn't want to risk it. Luckily afterwards I got Black Rose Dragon and Collosal Fighter for the previously mentioned MC and TT. Probably not the best trade but at least I can use them. Granted not during the tournament because they already have my deck list....
Down time between rounds, failed trading, climbing the outside of the stair case down the hall past the exit to get to the restrooms (probably the only person there who was capable of doing that though XD).
And when I got back to the room I got another pack of GS2, Pulls were Future Fusion, E-Hero Captain Gold (<-Now why couldn't the Gold Series 1 Short Prints be that easy to get!?) and Death Volstgalph, and again, all the commons again.
Round 4: Dueled some kind of Kuriboh deck or something, I do know that round one I kept drawing S/T and not monsters. Round 2 I was doing good up until Light and Darkness came out, that was when I realized I should have discarded Gaius for Lightning instead of discarding D.D. Crow.. That duel was quite frankly annoying....
Literally nothing happened in the downtime here, so I'll skip to...
Round 5: Was dueling a Sea Serpent deck, Not much to say except that gale helped end things quick and compulse got rid of his synchro monsters.
Down time I almost was trading with someone then the pairings went up.
Round 6:
Guess who I was dueling?.. The person I was trying to trade with XD.
He was running Zombies, Round one it kept being S/T for us near the end, But I did stop 3 Scrap-Iron Scarecrow's with cold wave, pretty much finished when I had Sirocco, Shura and Bora out when he had Goblin Zombie in defense, hard to guess that I pumped up Bora and swung for game. Round two pretty much the only advice for my opponent there would be to clench because the swarming was pretty much **** there.
Wow this trading is failing today....
Round 7: Up against Synchro Cat. Thought I was in trouble a few times but ended up winning. First time today I got out Iron Chain too, Grand Mole sent it back but I ended up winning that anyways, I think that one was one of the duels that got to game 3.
Besides more failed trading I found some members here there. And obviously laughing at This Topic (http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=719056) had to be done XD.
Round 8, Saigo no Round (<-Final Round). Somehow this was only the second mirror match today, It went into round 3, where deck devastation virus lived up to it's name... >_<
Final total 4/4
Got my packs, nothing good I didn't have (although Moja is trade bait for some reason).
Final Rankings finally got up. I was ready, then I found out my score, 4 and 4, got to the list and saw my ranking... 91......
My thoughts at that moment was

Well so much for nats this year, that sucks because I wanted to try that duel terminal that's supposed to be there. Oh well, Theres always next tournament season......
But this venue by far beats Dream Wizards for hosting tournaments
