SI Doctor Strange

This may go in the team discussion forum.... Anyways, I'm fairly new to heroclix and I pulled SI Doctor Strange from a pack this week. The shop owners told me I had a great piece for a 300 point game (I also see that Rurouni ranked it as the third best piece of 2008) so I believe it. The owners, however, began to argue about the best team for Doc Strange.

One said I should use Doc with several Police or Shield units, another said I should make a stealth team while the last guy said I should pair Doc with 2-3 heavy-hitting mystics. I think all are viable but I was hoping some of you can share your experiences of playing with or against Doc. Which of the owners strategies for team building do you think is the most effective?

I'd say that pairing him with a mystic would be a good idea. Pairing him up with someone with the Batman team ability is still a good idea.... even better an idea is to pair him up with any stealthy figure that you can place in front of him to block line of fire to him directly, seeing as how his trait allows him to shoot through characters anyway... so he could shoot, but not be shot back.

I liked using Alfred for this. Gives the stealth shield and perlpex. I cant wait to use him again.

Pair him with Devil Dinosaur & Moonboy or (ultimate) Namor for a clean 300 pts
