They're just remakes of the originals. There are plenty of new features but they will still have the same main storyline, so no, Giovanni probably won't be in them. Why would he? That would defeat the whole purpose of the new Team Rocket resurrection.

And this is probably something you could have asked quickly in the main thread. An arbitrary yes/no question with its own thread doesn't really scream 'discussion'.

Don't know but it would be nice to have some closure on that whole thing though. Maybe if rather than just giving up after defeated, Giovanni himself shows up and tells them to stop. I mean they're claiming this is a Gold and Silver remake but they're adding that Crystal dude in so we know they're no strangers to taking liberties. ;)

Adding Eusine isn't really a 'liberal idea' though, if he was in Crystal. It's still something taken from the original games.

You always had Suicune, Entei and Raikou in the original Gold/ Silver. You don't need Eusine to get Suicune he was just added in Crystal to make Suicune more important, because he was the mascot for that game.

Eh, there's almost certainly a new area(s) akin to the Sevii Islands <or possibly even the islands themselves> in the game. It's entirely possible that he's relocated to such an area in the 3 years since Team Rocket disbanded. Hey, Moltres relocated to the Sevii Islands, why couldn't Giovanni? Besides, I'd say the Rocket Warehouse in the Sevii Islands would be a pretty good hideout for him. A secluded area, and the place was almost certainly completely abandoned soon after the storyline of FR/LG.

I could see him off in some place training (obv. not Dragon's Den, your Rival will be there), mentioning he was once a feared man. I'm wondering if that foolish fellow is going to get a little more limelight in Kanto (they should make Kanto a little harder)

It would be cool to see Giovanni come out of hiding, especially considering how we make enemies w/ his thieving son lolz. They referenced that in the FG/LG, and it was confirmed in the manga.

I could care less. He totally sucks anyway. He's no more difficult than your rival (Who sucks when you trade over another starter).

Pokemon as a whole is easy as pie once you have disposable legendaries to trade back and forth.

Id say no. Unless they give him a cameo somewhere after you beat the Rockets. Just Giovanni training in some mountain with his Persian. Maybe hell talk to you and mention the Rockets and Red a bit but nothing more. No battle, no items, and certainly no him in charge of the Rockets. That is what Id want to see.

You need to take Celebi to the Ilex Forest with it as your lead, go to that shrine thing right behind the tree you have to cut, and Celebi will start to glow, and you're rival (not silver, the other one) will come up with you, and you'll be sent back in time to Giovanni talking to his son, your other rival (silver). After that, you'll be teleported to a small cave where Giovanni is standing next to a radio. He hears Team Rockets calls to him from the radio tower when they took it over and he still says they are disbanded and so then he battles you. He's really weak, considering it's so far into the game. I think Lv. 45 is the highest it gets, or somewhere around there.
