All right, I lied. I said this would be a detailed report since I was taking my journal, but I got lazy.
As for the actual tournament, my 2 friends came over at 8 AM and we headed off. Made some trades, registered, and got our five packs. We didn't start until 11:30, so it gave me some time to playtest with some last-minute changes. See, until now I didn't have Solemns so I was running triple Aurkus. With Solemns, I went up to 43 cards (from 42) so I could control the games with a 10-trap LS deck. Here it is:

Round 1: Table 32 vs. Lightsworn
Game 1: I start and opt not to set Solemn. He punishes me and gets me with a turn 1 Crush Card, hitting at least a Garoth and Celestia. I can't quite recover and he beats me down with Celestia and maybe JD.
Game 2: I open with a Lumina/Aurkus play and lock him down fast. He tries to attack over Aurkus and eventually does, but my swarm eventually causes him to scoop it up.
Game 3: He opens with a T-set. I go into a Lumina/Garoth play and attack into another CCV, but this time I have My Body as a Shield ready in my hand to negate it. With his outs gone, he can't do much as I take game shortly thereafter.

Intermission: I get to find out what all my locals buddies are running, and how they did. One's running Stun, one's running Simochi/Nurse burn, one's running Ojamas, one's running something I can't remember, one's running Aliens, and one's running Plant Drain.
Round 2: Table 16 vs. Lightsworn
Game 1: I get some early pressure with Lumina and Aurkus, preventing some defensive measures my opponent would have otherwise used. Celestia comes down to swing it totally in my favor.
Game 2: They stall for a bit with teched Shining Angels, blocking a couple attacks. They bring out Honest after my final attack and bounce next turn. After a few turns go by, I try to start conserving cards and not overextend as much, since she keeps milling the damn Gardnas. I finally go into Strike Fighter, attack, and burn DSF for game by 50.

Intermission: Beat my friend. Lunch goes until 2:08. We go to Whataburger. Come back to find out I'm playing against a locals buddy.
Round 3: Table 10 vs. Skill Drain Plants
Game 1: He opens with Lonefire into Gigaplant, and I think a couple of sets. I draw craaap. Set Necro (I think), and set Bottomless). He attacks over Gardna and doesn't Gemini. I think I topped into a Ryko at that point, so it was a little better. He Gemini-d into a BTH, Ryko killed something, and then I think Celestia got Solemned. I eventually won, I think with DSF.
Game 2: I honestly can't remember a damn thing about this one, except he won it.
Game 3: I open with some traps and a Lyla. His monster falls down a Hole, I swing, and break something. I remember Honesting over a lot of ****. Oh wait, I remember. I had Honest in hand with a dead Wulf, and I was at very low health. He has no sets and I draw into...a Celestia?! "Man, I need Plaguespreader!!!" I frantically check my graveyard. YUSSSSSS!!!! I stack Wulf to being back Plague, sac for Celestia, and attack over his monster with Honest for 2300 and game.

Intermission: Beat Greyson's Plants, the 2nd person I've known. I find out the burn guy got decimated by a well-timed Deck Devy Virus. I'm the only 3-0 guy out of us.
Round 4: Table 3 vs. Twilight
Game 1: He gets me early. Milled a Gardna, I open with no Solars or Charges. Set Torrent, Solemn, and Beckoning, and he goes Cold Wave, JD.
Game 2 (EDITED): I open with crap again! Set Gardna, pass. He went "I think that's a gurdna... so... Foolish wulf, summon kycoo.". I Reborn his Lumina after a couple turns and used her to get some mill going. I set 2. He goes Brain Control and tries to use her and I flip Royal Oppression. I hit a set Honest. He sets a Ryko and protects it, and I set another MBaaS. He kills my 3 backrows with Ryko and Celetstia then goes DADJDFoolishWulfGG.

Round 5: Table 9 vs. Lightsworn
Game 1: CCV hits three in hand and two off the draw. GG
Game 2: CCV hits two in hand and one off the draw. GG

Intermission: Make that 4/5 people I've known. This was Scott Page, another locals friend.
Round 6: Table 3 vs. Lightsworn
Game 1: He goes first with CoSR, Foolish Wulf, mill Wulf off double Solar and Charge, Lumina play. Draw three. I would have had a decent hand if I had gone first, as I was holding a Lyla and a Bottomless. Alas, Celestia smites me next turn.
Game 2: Again, he does some crazy shenanigans with like double Solar and a Charge, or something like that. Mills three REAL early. I don't have a Solar OR a Charge. All I can do is set Ryko and hope. After I finally get LS in the grave, JD comes down and nukes everything putting me at 700, and he topdecks into a Monster Reincarnation. Boo.

Intermission: Now I'm on the bubble, and the pressure's on. I really need to win both of my last matches to guarantee a nats spot. I dueled some random obnoxious kid who ran a 60-card Yubel deck. OMG he was so rude and conceited. I ended up 2-0ing him.
Round 7: Table 17 (I think) vs. Chaos-End Control
Game 1: I open with Aurkus and he simply passes. I summon Lyla and poke for only 1200, reading a Gorz. He Solemns something and goes down to 3400, and I Honest Aurkus for another 1200 to get rid of Chaos-End Master. I poke with Honest for 1100 and bounce, and he uses Smashing Ground! Oh noez! Lucky I had a Beckoning for double Honest and exactly game.
Game 2: After my bad with Solar and accidentally trying to use Charge when Thunder King was out, I set Ryko and Evac Devicve. He Solemns the Evac on Thunder King, and attacks into Ryko. The puppy eats Thunder King, and he sets a monster, ending with 2 f/d and Prohibition on Heavy Storm. I Charge for Ehren, kick away an Honest, and mill a Wulf. He tries to Oppress it and I Solemn, and he scoops after his next draw.

Intermission: This was another person from locals (Velvet Jones), and I had seen this deck before. I really liked how it worked, using the Destiny engine with Chaos-End Master, Sphere of Chaos, and trip Honest, but he ended up 4-4. I find out that this was like his 4th LS match. I had already played against 5 LS decks out of my first 6 rounds. Time for the final round.
Round 8: Table 11 (I think) vs. Glad Beasts
Game 1: He doesn't even play a monster, instead using triple Book of moon to keep flipping down Garoth, so I keep poking with Ryko for 200. I Crush him and hit a Darius, revealing a Chariot and Solemn. GG
Game 2: He ends with Darius and a f/d monster. I summon Jain and swing for 400, mill a Gardna. He sets a monster, and Jain hits a Hoplomus, which turns into a Retiari, removing Gardna. He goes Proving Ground into Hoplomus, sets it, and ends with Retiari in DEF. I kill double Hoplomus with Celestia and run over Retiari w/Jain, then fill my backrow with Beckoning, BTH, Solemn, and Compulse. He goes Kitty into Tiger/Samnite and I CED the Samnite.
