Detroit Top 4 Regional Report

So i get up early and am very tired probably slept 5 or 6 hours, and call my friend to come get me we leave get there write decklists etc. Im playing Dad drain with the new stuff like thunder kings etc.

Round 1 Me vs Daniel cook Blackwing with ddraw engine
Game 1 It takes a while (drew 2 malis) but in the end i ended up with a synchro and a mirror force fd.gg
Game 2 I just ccv see what he has then overextend knowing he has nothing to stop it.gg

Round 2 Me vs Jessie Miller Twilight
Game 1 I just drew great and hes playing twilight he didnt so i ended up winning.gg
Game 2 I sided in crows and i got one so he tried to reincarnate to get garoth to run my startos over and i crowed and proceded to win.gg

Round 3 Me vs Micheal Mcdonald Lightsworn
Game 1 I play ccv for 4 against his ls and push with thunder kings and when he finally draws foolish i mind crush it.gg
Game 2 I drew ccv again but i drew synchro and solmen this time so i ended up winning.gg

Round 4 vs Clayton Holmes Blackwings
Game 1 I just took advantage of his terrible hand pushing with tomatos and watnot.gg

Game 2 he draws ok but i draw god and make his hand trash.gg

Game 1 I take control of his bad hand and beat him.gg

Game 3 I summon thunderking set 4 drawphase trapdustshoot mindcrush him and proced to win.gg

Game 1 he wins i couldnt draw a monster.gg
Game 2 i win off of ccv hitting 3 cards and sitting on a synchro.gg
Game 3 i crush him and all he has left is heavy so i push for damage.gg

Round 8 Me vs dustin little city
Game 1 I draw ccv synchro 3 solemns lol.gg
Game 2 I draw ccv hit 4 synchro with solemn and pwwb set and win.gg

So standing are up and im in 4th place i have to play jessie i was his only loss in swiss.

Game 1 He starts great but i go skill drain 2 defenders and stall enough so my bad hand would get good.gg
Game 2 He starts great again and i counter again and ended up winning.gg

So they dont play top 4 out they never do.

It works 100 percent better jeff jones actually took the barbs out for tkrs.

Nah, I didnt play this gook. But the amount of cheating at this regionals was out of control. By far the worst regionals I've ever been to, with the worst group of players I've ever seen. People dont even know the rules and people were playing "dumb" on rules they know they couldn't do. Not to mention the at least 3 people I saw adding ccv from there lap to there hands.

yea so it's like they cant use their monster effects and cant special summon too. that alone sounds better than having just a 3000 beatsick on the field that can die to something later on, lol.

Yea i hate barb now as for the dprison its ok i love the dprison over bottomless because we tend to have mirror matches here and ive always had a softspot for dprison and with skill drain on the field bottomless lets effects activate and the 1 pwwb is defienetly needed in case i dont have a ddraw or grepher etc to ditch mali or just to clear a backrow or sychro.

I like the deck, you should try 2 mind crush and vortex. They are amazing in this meta, worked very well at reggie's two weekends ago. Will be trying 2 BTH mained as well next weekend in niles. My "hardest" matchup was BW and bth ***** them way more than dprison.

Also 2 mind crush + 2 pwwb is pretty sweet as well.

No one know's how to build decks themselves appareantly :\ lol it was a debris dragon control. He was just there for fun he lent out like all his decks to his bf and such. And he would have more then likely went x-o had he not scooped. He is a great player regardless of deck lol. As long as it's top tier he will probably win the tourny he enters. :p

Btw to anyone saying he stacks HAHAHAHHA it's call skill? and ya know draw power and stalling like the decks supposed to do -_- umad? cause you can't draw CCV like a good duelist. Anyways great regionals sean. GJ getting top 4. Wish I didn't draw so many monster maybe I would have placed higher then the 20's lol.
