Why is Smogon having all the fun =^.^=

Yeah, it has started. You can find the thread here (http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55122). This basically means that ghosts of the past (Garchomp long time no see!) will be back to play on Smogon's new suspect ladder, whenever it's up. To summarize, all of the following suspects will be allowed on the same suspect ladder:

Deoxys-E (Pending)
Shaymin-S
Garchomp
Latios
Manaphy
Latias

Effects On The Metagame

So as we already know just allowing one extra poke into the standard Metagame it can cause a massive changes, some maybe small like 'outclassing' a once popular Pokemon or other might be massive like making a certain type of team e.g. Weather rocket in usage, it's our job too weigh up both the Positive Points and Negative Points of allowing each suspect into the standard metagame.

Yes, there are going to be a few tourneys this is the only way I can think of recording the usages of each Pokemon, some tourneys may be spontaneous on the chat if everyone is up for it, others will be more organised.

Q. How will this work?
A. The people of Pojo will battle with these new Pokemon to see if they 'overcentise' the OU Metagame.


Q. Will will be using Wi-fi or Shoddy?
A. Use can use both Shoddy and Wifi


Q. I thought I can't use Shaymin-S on Wi-fi.
A. If you own Platinum and an AR or are using a Flashcard I can supply you with the Shaymin-S AR code to allow you too use it over Wi-fi.

I was thinking about making a chat were people can battle and discuss these 'suspects'.

If anyone has any other ideas please let me know just note that a Pojo shoddy server is out of the window so just stick with Smogon's server or Team Uber's server.

Also I will be posting the AR code so you can use Shaymin-S on wifi tomorow as I posting this from moi Wii xP.

Deoxys-E isn't being tested anymore btw, it got emergency banned.

We should just bring back the Pojo Tiers/Suspect Tests that Itsuki started, instead of starting from here. Even if Itsuki doesn't want to run it this time, someone should still bring it back. This needs to be very well organized if it's going to succeed. Skynet, If you need my help, feel free to pm me.

This could be our first discussion we could keep Deoxys-E in for a few weeks so we can actually test, it instead of going with the flow.

So should we let Deoxys-E stay in suspect or should we boot the MOFO back too UBAHS.....discuss (plz back up your ideas with facts not opinons)

- ExtremeSpeed / etc...

This thing can easily get up the entry hazards.

The Life Orb set wrecks a lot of Offensive that don't run Metagross, Scizor (can be beaten with HP Fire), Bronzong, etc.

yep, the more effective lead IMO is the DS Deoxys

The DS lead is awesome on Offensive teams but I think the Spiker lead helps all kinds of teams hence why I think it fulfills the Support Chracteristic.
