Indy Regionals 5-23-09. . .Stonie plays Lightsworn.

First regionals for the Stonie since Konami took over and i top 8. Piloting lightsworn like a drunk sailor at a ***** bar for the 6-1 showing. First time playing the deck and must say "Felt like it was on cruise control the whole time". The field was around 122, not bad Indy. Started off round 1 against some glad deck who's player didn't know Trapeater(ftw) did, SERIOUSLY? Anyhow round 2 was against some weird deck with thunder kings and vanity's fiend(sorry didn't recognize the deck). Hard fought match that was but barely won. Round 3 was where I get my first warning against mirror match i guess, 2-0'd em with ease. Round 4, finally i get to play the talked about BLACK WING THE BRINGER OF DEATH...oh wait more like the OMG that deck hit the wall running and just kept trying and trying like a fat guy running up hill. Black wing gets 2-0'd as it deserves. Round 5- this was sweet match against DaD-Drain. I got crushed both games, imagine that eh? Pull off the weird 2-0 and continue to round 6. Mirror match but lol in what was a total luck win in match 1(he decked out) Match 2 he took me to the woodshed! ouch. Match three for those of you who were there ya know how that went down lol (hush stop laughing). First loss of the day errrrr....yeah now on to round 7, once again Black wing! i'm still retarded from last round I drop JD and tribute for celeste for no reason???? seriously i did that. my opponent was like WOW! so finally I lose match 1, match 2 was like the storming of normandy! give me that son! Gotta be kidding, match 3 i took a POW and released him into a defeat setting him back to 5-2 sorry blackwings. Finished 3rd overall after swiss, only to draw Larry the MASTER OF PLANTS so they say eh Amigos. I get a game loss!!! yeah okayy whatever, that set the mood for Larry to lets just say gently kick me to the curb in match 2. Woohoo! gotta love that. So i take my no foil packs and gamemat. they almost gave us two mats? Almost! So that day ended with long ride back home..PA POW!!!
