I had blackwings completely built but to be honest i really dont like them that much because i noticed that they do lose out to simple disruption such as BTH, BoM, Smash, etch so i decided to go with something else.
So i get there an hour or so beforehand and gather the last of the cards i needed besides DSF which sucked but eh, oh well 3 BRD did the job.
Rd 1: Me (Silver Bullet) vs Karl (SC Control)
Game 1: I opened with valley and he just wouldnt attack it so mind control took care of that. He got the Citadel, but all my removal nuked his monsters and alchemist + Shura took out his life.
Game 2: Sided in dusts, breaker, and mobius. saw a dust but Cydra + Salvo did most of the heavy lifting
Rd 2: Me (Silver Bullet) bs Rob (Dark Synchro)
Game 1: Alchemist got my DAD back to nuke the field then finished up with a Return kill
Game 2: He synched up early for stardust and i dropped gorz then DAD a couple turns later FTW
Rd 3: Me (Silver Bullet) vs Hunter (Lightsworn)
Game 1: Colossal Fighter pwned his face with Books to back him up.. royal decree almost screwed me lol
Game 2: Dropped Armor Master, got Celestia'd + decree'd, came back with cyber + smash + salvo
Rd 4: Me (Silver Bullet) vs Jason (Gadgets)
Game 1: he had oppression while i had reborn, sorcerer, and return, but alchemist and shura held out until i got rid of the oppression. and he brained my valley, how rude lol
Game 2:was getting no monsters and deko was smashing my face until i finally got my own deko and then proceeded to smash with cyber dragon + shura
Top 4: Me (silver bullet) vs Old Bob (Blackwings)
Game 1: Went back and forth with BTH's and syncs, then he dropped armor master and dad and i dropped gorz hoping to win next turn.. gorz got stopped so i finally lost my first game lol.
game 2: he whirlwinds then summons Bora so i MST it. deko + LJM + smashing + BTH was the killer
game 3: he opens with blizzard 2 whirlwind and 2 f/d. i got deko, MST, heavy, reborn, mind crush and somethin else. so i set the 2 and say go, he attacks into deko, sets another and in the end phase i got lucky and hit the solemn. next turn i heavy and call kalut for crush but it was sirocco so i lose reborn. ran over blizzard with gale then got sirroco'd. Mind control + salvo got stardust and i proceeded to win from there
Finals: Me (Silver Bullet) vs Shawn (GB)
Game 1: BoM + BTH + Smashing + Synchs smashed his face
game 2: Bestiari got BTH'd and books + dekoichi and shura did most of the heavy lifting. Stardust + Mirror Force in the end for GG
well theres the jist of what happened this week, next week ill make sure to give some more detail if i play.
Overall went 6-0 in matches and 12-1 in games
