Before anymore posts appear in this topic I must say that I havent actually confirmed when it will come out. It will however come out sometime in Febuary, and be part of an animation marathon. I need to see the commercial one more time to add more info.

I've seen the first five episodes of Heat Guy J (saw at an anime club I go to). I love the characters, especially Claire. He's another bishie to add to the list, and who doesn't love a guy who says "Look father, fireworks!" ?

Yah I noticed it was him. It's kinda odd to hear him play as an "evil" character, but it's all good. :D

Back in October Geneon announced that Heat Guy J would be airing on MTV sometime in 2004. Thanks to Matt Hollis-Lima, we now know that the show will air on MTV2 on Fridays at 6pm, starting on February 6th. Two episodes will air every Friday, with repeats throughout the weekend.
The City Guy
The head of Judo's biggest crime family has died. Lorenzo Leonelli funeral becomes a who's who in underground crime. But the biggest question is who's going to be the new Don? Daisuke gets a tip from Shogun about three illegal aliens reported to have entered the city. According to Shogun they entered the city and met with one of crime families. On his way to check out the tip Daisuke is confronted by a rogue android programmed to destroy Jay. Is this an isolated incident, or is there a much bigger plan waiting to unfold if Jay can be permanently destroyed?

I could have sworn that MTV was about pop and non-geek things. Why do they need our pastime? Then again, I could've sworn that MTV was about Music.

Well now, I enjoyed watching Heat Guy J. The voice acting was really good and so was the animation. I really wish they could of played the entire ending theme because it sounds like a good song. I'm happy it isn't edited really by the looks of it. Well now I can't wait to see the next episodes.

Just watched it finally, and I like. I like a lot. ^_^ The voice acting was pretty decent too. This is the first time I've been really impressed with Johnny Yong Bosch. Usually I think of him as okay to average, but him as Claire. . . wow. Maybe he should just stick with the crazy characters. ^^

I thought he did rather well as Vash, especially for his first time in an anime role. I've heard him as Sakaki in WHR and I was a bit disappointed. His voice is perfect for the role, but I thought his perfomance wasn't as good. I forgot exactly what I thought of it because it's been a while since I've heard it. It was something like it felt forced or flat in some places. I had heard he was Claire in Heat Guy J before I watched it but there were times I could barely recognize his voice. That's some good range there. ^^

Does anyone know the schedule of the eps and such. MTV's really strange about their scheduling. It doesn't look like there will be new eps this week. I wanted to make sure it was on at the same time and it's not. The 1st time it's on this weekend is 2am Sat, and it looks like the same ep as last week (City Guy right?).

I really wonder why no ones really brought up anything related to Heat Guy. I'd like to know if I'm the only one whose actually watching it lol. Its getting really interesting and they showed the full ending theme in the episode "Mirage". I personally thought the song was quite nice.
