Yes its me, J u d g m e n T formerly known as {DOS} Hell Kaiser JT. I didnt think id be writing a tournament report for atleast 6 months but I finally convinced my relatives to drive me to one of the sneaks in MA. Today I went to the sneak in Whitman, MA.
well Id start out with how the day began but considering I was up all night il just say I got my stuff together and fixed my side board up. My mother and I leave at 9:30 to pick my sister up from her fathers then we head to grandmothers house, Eventually I have to sit through my sister and her damn disney channel songs. I mean seriously if I have to listen to Miley Cyrus one more time, Im going to go off the wall. I have nothing against her but not when Im tired =[
We get to Whitman at around 11 and get some lunch at Marcelos or w/e which is down the street from the venue. I get a meatball sub and some mountain dew. At around 11:30 I am dropped off. I walk in, get greated by the store owners and get my 5 packs. I pulled 1 super rare and that was Magic Planter but meh i suppose it could have been worst.I then bought a crimson crisis special edition for the hell of it looking for an armour wing and DSF. I wasnt expecting to get anything above 1 super based on my luck with crimson crisis spoecial editions. I pull a secret rare zeta reticutant and super rare arcanite magician. Meh i suppose it could have been worst. I make a few trades as follows.
My 2 arcanite magician, 1 black salvo and 1 kaibaman for 3 super rare Macro cosmos (wow, I didnt expect anyone to have 1 nonetheless a set) and 2 alien kid.
my charge of the light brigade for 2 tempest magician, ultimate rare D.D. Crow and elemental hero prisma
my mirror force (ultra, not mint) and prisma for 2 dark bribes (super rare)
My ultimate rare Lightning vortex for earthbound immortal asila piscu
Before anymore trading was done, we were told we could get another 5 packs so I did. This time I got slightly better pulls. Ultimate rare eathbound immortal ccapac apu and super rare. One of the owners at the shop went around telling us that if a whole bunch of people dont show, we would have a tournament. Eventually we were set up to have a tournament and this is what my deck looked like

The tournament was announced as single elimination. I hate single elimination because one bad hand in the first match could potentially boot me out of the tournament.
Match one: Vs. Zombies (I win 2-0)
thoughts: he had no sleeves for his deck but his extra deck had sleeves I think.....
game one: Lightsworns do what Lightsworns do and swarm. He attempted to attack my lumina with his zombie dragon paladin thing but I dropped Honest. I won with an onslaught of zombies. What sucks is I could have potentially brought out doomkaiser or revived king if I had plaque since he had zombie world on the field.
game two: I milled my crush and he book of lifed my Judgment Dragon. I end up winning with a second Judgment Dragon
We shake hands and report the match.
Next Im paired up against......
Match two: vs. Zombies (again? =[)
thoughts: he had sleeves. I didnt take him lightly either.
game one: I think he drew terrible. I end up winning with Judgment Dragon.
game two: This was good. he won and i thought I had him with a swarm but he lightning vortexed me =[ Looking back at this, i shouldnt have went double lumina hoping for necros in the gy which never happened. Good Job you deserved to win that one.
game three: I block his attacks with my honests and lay the smackdown soon after. I think the main highlight of this game was milling 2 necros for Lumina or w/e. I win this but I forget what I won with. I wanna say I went JD, JD, synchro for Tempest magician when he was at 7850.
after the match: we shook hands and my next opponet meets me at the table/
match three: Vs. Lightsworn
pre-match thoughts: a mirror match against someone who also runs crush o_o At this point I was really nervous. I said Nice mat (referring to his cyber dragon nationals mat) and he said that mat is pimp (referring to my lightsworn mat)
game one: Our hands are the ****s. I open with a set necro gardna, he opens with a set necro gardna. i dont find that out til I try to get on the offensive with Honest :x I eventually returned honest to my hand. I drew Lumina and thats when things started to get interesting. I won somehow.
game two: To my knowledge both of us milled our CCV. He won but I dont remember how lol
game three: We went tooth and nail. at one point he brought dad out but was unable to capatalize due to akrus being on the field. The only thing he could do was destroy my set necro gardna. I rammed my lumina into his DAD and dropped honest. next turn he brough phantom of chaos out and copied dad. he attacked lumina. The ending saw him bring JD out. he tried to attack and I blocked with necro gardna. At this point I had no cards on the field, JD in hand and 3 necros in the GY. he had 2 necros in his GY. he tried to attack and it was negated. Lets just say that after a few minutes of contenplating what to do..he ended his turn so hed deck out. I see hes not the type to scoop and I admire that.
after the match: we shook hands after a great match.
while I wait for my opponet to finish up, I work out another trade. My JD regional top eight mat and BW armour master for cp prohibition, cp snipe hunter, cp bestar and $20. regardless of wether the deal was balanced in value or not, i got the mat for a fossil dyna so doesnt matter to me
Finals: vs. Blackwings
pre-match thoughts: I have no exprieince against a BW deck sicne I was unable to attend locals (still am unable to) for the past 2 months. I made it this far, can I go the extra mile?
game one: I open with akrus and Lumina. he tries to attack but I either drop honest or remove with gardna to negate. I win 2 turns later.
game two: he just r@ped my ass. He got a swarm of BW including the one with trample. Not even My ryko could save me :[
game three: I open up with the nuts. 2 recharge, 1 charge, 2 lumina, 1 lyla. The ending saw I activate cold wave, he triggered icarus attack tributing gale killing both wulfs. I ss lyla with luminas effect. tribute lumina to summon celestia, ss 2 JD and that was game.
after the match: we shake eachother's hand and thats that.
so I win the tournament and recieve the sneak preview mat. To be honest, I am satisfied that I won after a 2 month break in single elimination nonetheless. Either way, Im glad I came and will def make another appearence at the next preview. I made a few more trades following the tournament,
my charge of the light brigade + throw ins for 1 destiny draw, 1 destiny hero malicious, 1 elemental hero prisma, 1 card trooper, 1 Il blud secret rare, 2 dark red enchanter secret rare. I amaware that this may have been in his favor but who cares. I make enough trades in my favor so this one can slide. I also already have 2 charges incoming from another user and plus the 3 in my deck. he also needed the charge so w.e.
my armory arm for dark bribe. i did this so I could finish my playset of bribes. i wanna make counter fairies.
my Overdrive teleporter for his Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon and beast striker. I needed some more holos from this set and the overdrive wasnt doing much in the binder except collecting dust.
Once everyone leaves, I decie to call my riide. I decide to buy 2 Crms se but the owner said I could buy raging battle if I wanted to so I bought $60 in packs (15). The holos i pulled were

What has JT been doing about his local problem lately?
welll the answer is for the past 3 weeks I have been trying to find ways to get back into FIT games. I miss the good deals. I even typed a letter to richard and brought up that he still has Mike the cheater in his shop. Well I guess hes taking Mike's side even though he caught him cheating against me once. Well if you really wanna bring your buisness down then I suppose thats the way to do it. Whatever, its his problem. I can find a card store that will appreciate my skills and my personality.
What are you going to do different about your local problem now JT?
well i suppose Il try to recruit yugioh peeps to 2 other card stores in my neck of the woods by posting flyers around. Other than that I will wait for 1k's, regionals and more sneaks.
