Wake up at 4am, double check bus directions to Anaheim, buy subway at 7am and arrive at location at 9am.
Line was damn long, so I was smart and sat down to meet new people and play card games instead of standing. Bought a Prisma for 5(!!!) and Card Trooper for 7(!) from a guy I met (Daniel) who ALSO goes to UCI! Should have been there earlier though, he was selling charges for 30.
At 12 the line finally disappears so Daniel's brother and I go register for the tournament.
I couldn't find blah32 (his description of being 6ft2 hanging around a cripple did not help me find him. He didn't tell me what color he was so I didn't feel like asking a bunch of black guys whether they went on an internet forum.) so I didn't have the light mirrors/wabokus/book of moons)

Round 1: Some spanish guy running Tele-Bad
G1: Pretty nervous, duel goes to a point where we're topdecking and I'm at 700 life to his 6400. I draw a test tiger and have no choice but to keep attacking with it until I hit a laquari and regain control. From there I win.
G2: He opens with nothing and I run a Samnite into a GORZ fck me. From there I lose.
G3: Game control switches back and forth until I have 2 Laquaris out and he sets a facedown monster. I run a samnite into it and it was a 4 Star ladybug of doom (WTF) but I chariot it for game.
Round 2: VS Glads
G1: control switches with various beats and I brain his dude for Gyzarus for game
G2: Reverse situation, he brains my guy for Gyzarus leaving him at 300. Somehow I gain control again and put him to 200, but he comes back and kills me.
G3: He drew 2 Darius so he couldn't do Gyzarus stuff since his Bestiari was dead. I misplay badly by setting a chariot and THEN tigering back a dude to summon bestiari so i can contact for Gyzarus, so I blew up the chariot I just set. Still, he has 2 Darius in hand so I just run over him with laquari lock. He shows me the 2 Darius in hand and I show him the crow.
Round 3: VS Glads
G1: I beat him. Pro play: he has stardust and an Armageddon knight out, I have 1 backrow. I summon rescue cat into samnite tiger, and tag for murmillo targeting Armageddon knight. He sac's dust to negate and I flip up my chariot.
G2: He beats me
G3: I beat him
Round 4: I GET TO PLAY AT TABLE 2!!!! VS George S(something something) running Lightsworn
G1: His first turn consisted of Charge into Lumina milling wulf, recharge a lyla into something and then having Lumina Garoth Wulf on the first turn. I die a turn later.
G2: I set facedown and summon samnite. He summons lyla and attacks samnite, only to run into DEFENSIVE TACTICS!!! Tag out for mumillo. I play it safe and have double laquari out while running over his gardna's and him removing them. He summons JD with me having 2 Laq and a Chariot down so he attacks one and ends. Next turn I smash the JD and attack. He draws a card, opens his Beckoning light for 2 JD and I flip mindcrush calling JD.
G3: Same as G1: except this time he celestias my field. Then drops JD.
Round 5: Telebad again
G1: I run him over
G2: He runs me over
G3: I run him over
(sorry for the short summaries, my head is cracking open from pain and last night was loooong)
Before the match I mentioned that I had to go even though I'm 3-1 since my last bus leaves at 9, so he asks me for the win and I give it to him.
Afterwards I give my friends my Starbucks drinks and go catch my bus.
I pulled a Samnite, a ULT Doom Kaiser Assault, and a vecroid or some crap.
