Save problems on LOG 2

how do i save on log 2

There are these platforms with a big "Z" on them..you save on those. At least, that's what I remember. It's been awhile since I've played it.

Too bad Legacy of Goku 2 wasn't like Legacy of Goku 1 when you could easily just press the start button and save at anypoint you want without using the platforms..oh well,I've beat this game like 100 times, doesn't matter anymore I guess:D
