What is meta now in naruto. I been out for while thinking about hoping back in some help me out with deck list and stuff

There's a bunch of popular deck types out there... Chain Lightning, Mono Earth, NvS, Earth Wind, Mono Fire, etc. Lots of variety. Also Puppets as well.

I've had a lot of success after I turned my old DFC deck into Deidara/Blind Spots. Earth got a considerable amount of draw power and a great 5 drop from the last set which really bumped it up to competitive level play.

Earth was competitive after AW came out, and Deidara doesnt add *much* to what made Earth great last set.
There isnt really a meta in Naruto right now. There are a lot of decks capable of being Tier 1 and winning tournaments.

I've been testing a Tenten/Night Attack deck after scoffing a bit at the results from the Oregon Chuunin.

The top deck is Fire. Followed by Wind,Earth,Chain Lightning,Puppets.

no more fire/water broken ? :( like the first three-fiveish sets that was the only good deck lol i havent played since then

Water isn't bad, it just lacks the draw power that fire has. Water hasn't had anything new for the last 2 sets other than a Zabuza and Orochimaru with ambush.

If we were to break it down into tiers...
Top tier would probably be (in no particular order):
NVS Tempo (wasn't aware there was any other kind),
Sasuke OC mono Fire,
Chain Lightning.
Tier 1.5
Mono-Earth Blind Spots,
Mono-Wind Puppets.
Tier 2
Mono-Fire Ninja Dogs,
Mono-Water maybe.
Mono-Earth DFC.
... unless you're from Oregon where Tenten Night Attack is tier 1.

Over at my local we recently had a Chunin sized Genin tourney and the top decks were Naruto OC, Sasuke OC, and Puppets.

pretty sure that's not true :/ everyone at that chunin ran jank and there were 3 of us in T8 who ran tenten. It's just a fun deck to play.

Just a little joke after all the heat the winning deck got when it was posted on Bandai. :P
It actually inspired me to run a mono-fire Tenten deck the past couple weeks.

well fair enough. The most optimal tenten seems to be lightning/fire because of scj and nvs. the third is amazing in tenten though:cool:

I say puppets are SO in right now & specially with the 2 new Sasoris and 3rd Kazekage coming out puppets r gonna be in for a while. Oh plus tactician

wouldn't say I was "playing" with you. But you totally curved well early in that game. If you had jiraiya in that deck (like you should've) then it would have been closer.
would you say that tenten is the best deck in our area?
overall, it's a fun deck to operate and it wins enough times to make it playable (the holy trinity of SCJ, Emina, and Jiraiya) but I wouldn't go as far to say "tier 1"
I don't see it going down as a joke, just a small chunin were an unconventional deck took home the 2 boxes. Does it matter though?

There is one thing that I've seen at the places I play at. There isn't really a top deck/meta where I am. Sure you see a chain lightning once and a while that takes the top, but not consistently. My Byakugan/Mental deck takes many tournaments, but I also see Puppets, NvS, Mono Fire, Water raking in the wins. Thats what I like about this game, there isn't a top deck. Everyone has a chance with the right amount of innovation. I believe meta changes from state to state. Here is what I've seen.
1. Puppets/Chainlightning
2. NvS/Byakugan-Mental
3. Mono-Fire
4. ??????
5. Mono-Earth
