So i know Tuningware's effect, if you don't...

"When this card is used for Synchro Summon, this card may be treated as a level 2 monster. When this card is sent to the graveyard for a Synchro Summon, Draw 1 card."

Now what if they oppression/solemn/horn of heaven/etc... to negate the Synchro summoning, do you still draw? technically the Synchro summoning was performed, it just wasn't a successful summoning...
Does the Synchro need to actually be successfully summoned in order to draw? or just be part of an attempted Synchro summoning, whether successful or not.

it specifically says when used for a synchro summon. if the summoning is not successful, you will not draw one card

Sure about that? because it doesn't say successfully summoned... hence the predicament

succesfully summoned can most likely be implied.

if a monster's summoning is negated that means it never hits the field, so successful or not the summoning never happens

Wanna proof?

Zolga: When you Tribute Summon a monster by Tributing this card, increase the Life Points of the player who controlled this card on the field by 2000 points.

FAQs: When a Tribute Summon using "Zolga" is negated by "Solemn Judgment", you don't increase your Life Points.

Note Zolga was tributed for a Tribute summon. But if the summon fails, Zolga does nothing. Substitute him for Tuningware.
