My last tournament report perhaps for a while

well after what happened tonigh, I realized its time for a break from locals. So here is what went down today.

pre-tourney: I stay up all night talking to people on msn, browse the internet and whatnot. At 7:00 I end up cleaning the living room because if i dont, I wont be able to go to locals but whatever. I finish and end up going to the store next to us so I can get some breakfast. Nothing much happens other than me taking a shower and then playing sonic triple trouble on my emulator to pass time. Mike arrives at 10:20 and we head to the bus station.

We get to the bus station and the bus is already there so there goes walking to Chris' bus stop. On the bus I ask Chris if I could borrow his headphones and he says no even though hes not using them. wtf? ok w/e not a big deal. Seth, Mike, Chris and I arrive at the card store.

Austin and his father are already there. I head to the white hen and get some lunch. Chris wouldnt go which was preculiar. When I get back seth traded his dad for 2 allures, a darklord zerato and $10 -.- ok fine, thats no prob. I do a little trading but nothing much. I trade chris my LADD, infernal sniper and some other meh cards for his stratos and other shiz. also trade austin some crap for some decent cards. damien also traded me an ultra white horned dragon for my pp02 reptile thing. I show off my new mat and I get thorton to trade me some cards because of the new banlist. apparently yesterday he pulled an ultimate rare plaque so I traded him an ultra thought ruler, ultra rose warrior, ultra stardust dragon, ultra revived king ha des, and gorz for a mezuki, an ultimate rare plaquespreader, an ultra rare mark of the rose and an ultimate rare stardust dragon. I make other petty trades and got my cyber vally from seth.

I lend jeff my glad beast deck for the tournament and such. he does not like my choice of running octavious but w/e, not an issue. Mike raitel hasnt moved to florida yet so he has come to enter. We have 11 people entering excluding Damien and austin since they are leaving early/have no money. Before we get started, here is the decklist.

Note: I was using an ocg Judgment Dragon. store policy says you can run an ocg version of the card as long as you have an undecked english copy by your side.

prize structure is
first place gets 10 duelist packs
second place gets 6 duelist packs
third and fourth gets 2 duelist packs
fifth through eigth gets 1 duelist pack

and the tournament went a little like this

Round one: JT (Lightsworns) vs. Mike Rietel (burn)
before the match: Mike Raitel and I joked around and trash talked eachother
game one: It got nasty when I just kept popping with celestia's effect
game two: at one point he had a set monster and a cobra token on the field. I summoned red dragon archfiend and it went downhill from there for him. I got the OCG Judgment Dragon out for the win.
winner: JT 2-0

and this is how the incident started building up. I reported the match and the store owner started saying "big surprise" and such. I wait around and eventually the next round is called.

Round two: chuckie (yubel/dad) vs. JT (Lightsworns)
note: he was borrowing Jeff's dad
game one: I opened with aukras and 2 set cards. he didnt do much because when he heavy stormed i chained threatning roar. I eventually clear his field for game
game two: see game one.
winner: Chuckie 2-1
I tell chuckie that he wins the match 2-1 even though that clearly wasnt the case. I didnt want rich to think I was unstoppable even though it was too late for that

I sit around and wait for round three to start

Round three: JT (Lightsworns) vs. robbie (counter fairies)
before the match: I tell robbie that rich's comments have been irritating me.
game one: he makes the mistake of not solemning my ryko where I eventually get Jiudgment, celestia, wulf on the field and he cant recover
game two: I try to decree once and he negates with herald of purple light. I try to decree him a second time and he solemns it. It costs him.
winner: JT 2-0
I tell robbie to say I won 2-1 but he refuses =\

yup I endure more punishment from the store owner. Not sure if hes joking or not....

Round four: Dylan (jank) vs. JT (Lightsworns)
before the match: dylan asks me if i can go easy on him.
game one: despite being able to win in 2 turns, I just poke him with rykos and such til I eventually punch him with celestia for game
game two: same thing with game two except I finished him with Judgment Dragon
winner: JT 2-0
I report it to richard as myself winning 2-1. he still doesnt seem happy but whatever.

the top eight is announced as

game one: I reluctantly but any rate win. he scooped when I heavy stormed his back row, summoned lumina, ss ehren and locked his ass.
game two: at one point he got prime material dragon. I summoned judgment dragon and ran it over and proceeded to win, reluctantly.
winner: JT 2-0

so Rich doesnt seem happy about this and i guess from what robbie told me, 2 people have decided not to come back because of my infinite winning streak or w/e anyways Jeff is to face david while I am to face Mike C. This is where the problems begin.

Top four elimination match: JT (Lightsworns) vs Mike C (gravekeepers)
before the match: Mike kept telling me to scoop and let him win. he even asked me to give him the win if he won the first game. I refused but nonetheless, he gets his way.
game one: he gets a great start with spear soilder and pitch black on the field with necrovally. I take care of the warewolf with garoth. his spear soilder attempts to attack but I mirror force and it went downhill from there for him.
at this point, he keeps irritating me by saying "woo hoo your gonna win" and all kinds of ********* comments. by this time i asked him 4 times to stop and even asked robbie to tell him to shut the **** up. he said "I dont listen to anyone"" and at this point Im ready to give him the rko punt without a moment's hesitation.
game two: I dont side deck and I get a crappy hand. and Mike starts taunting me again. i try to ignore it but he wont shut the **** up. and by this time I ******* explode. I lost my temper. I tell him to shut the **** up because by this time, I get up pick my cards up and stormed off to get my bag and left the store for 5 minutes.
winner by disqualification: Mike C

at this time, I dont care and I am ******* pissed. I go back in, get 2 packs for winning fourth and pull ultra rare armory arm. Mike then acts like nothing ******* happened which is like wtf man. Mike then goes on to face Jeff in the finals and loses. david gets his 2 packs for winning third and pulls tuningware or w/e. I trade him 2 secret village of the spellcaster and 3 nights end scorcerer for it. I make some other trades that were rather pointless but w.eI am about to duel chuckies new c-tech OTK deck with my GB deck but then its 5:20 which is another time when the bus comes so I decide to just leave. I say bye to richard and honestly, Im not sure if i should go back :/ I however dont go on the bus, I get a ride from my grandmother. I go to stop and shop and as Im driving away, one of my past best friends waves to me though Ive ran into him like 2 months ago. That pretty much sums up the craptacular day I had :/

I play a lot of lightsworn players, and they all have this in common, they have a lot of money to spend on cards, they run a top tier deck which requires very little skill. Judgement dragon is just like a damn chaos emperor dragon only more powerful, because of the support it has.
You need to grow up and not let people get the best of you, because when you let your opponent piss you off you have a lower chance of winning. You sound like a person who is easily irritated, and not used to losing. IT IS YOUR FAULT FOR LOSING, NOT HIS BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CONTROL YOUR TEMPER. If anyone were to cuss out somebody in a tournament they would have been banned from the store.

A piece of advice: I once won like, 10 in a row,relatively easy, and no longer found it a challenge. People were annoyed, so I made a Elemental hero Otk thing for lawls and then they shut up :D.
