View Full Version : Should GX be released weekly?

It' just as the title says. Do you guys think the GX manga should be released weekly in Weekly Shonen Jump like the original yugioh manga or should it continue to be released montly in V-Jump?

I sort of think it should be released weekly, that way we'll have 4 chapters per month instead of 1, and the storyline will progress quickly. Anyways, what do you think?

I think it would help, it seems to be going VERY slowly, and would allow for more to happen.

But don't you think its going way too slowly? If GX ran in shonen gangan, another monthly magazine, each issue would be about around 45 pages or 35 or so. But each monthly issue of GX is only like about 20 pages.

But each monthly issue of GX is only like about 20 pages.Currently, GX manga chapters have about 30 pages, and they have ever since Yu-Gi-Oh! R ended. Also, the art is amazing.

A weekly manga would be nice, but in this case I think I actually prefer GX as monthly.

Weekly would be nice but a bit much, do the Japanese have a fortnightly comic? Get 2 parts a month with less pressure on Kageyama

I dont know if such a thing exists, but that would be a good idea.

It'd be nice, as it takes forever between releases currently.

However, as previously said, any loss in quality due to it really isn't worth it.

Yeah, you don't really want the story to get "WTF", because they are rushing to get it out

I just wish that there was some kind of set interval at which a new manga is made. Be it two months or even three, I'd like to know when something is available instead of just hoping I can find it.

Original Yugioh was not bad.
