As the title says i topped4 at the fight house UD Day in Ny. i'm doing this report off memory so i don't remember a whole lot of details, if I do i'll add them.
So the night b4 i sleep over at my friend Andrew's house. we didn't playtest, instead we watched: Walk Hard:The Life story of Deuy Cox. That movie is hilarious!..and i fall asleep. so we wake up the next day get out quickly and get there with some time to spare. so i decide to use the deck i used at my local the night before (oppression DAD) and the event begins:7 rounds of swiss.
Round 1 vs some1(forgot name)// Deck:Black Garden Plants I won 2-0 i was able to wind blast his black garden, drop double DAD for GG.

Round 2 vs random AZN// Deck: DAD Mirror Match I lost 0-2 =/ gm1 i draw trash, then gm2 i get sacked......(CCV+Sangan hitting 4 cards must be nice....)

Round 3 vs some1(forgot name, but he was really cool =])// Deck:Zombies I win 2-0 he kinda drew bad gm1, then gm2 i just outplay him and double synchro for game.

Round 4 vs some1(i know my memory isn't the greatest)// Deck:Macro Monarch I won 2-0 I CCV him both games and gm1 hit 3 monarchs survivor and banisher leaving him with jus a dead GK spy and 2 dead cosmos(which got MST'd) and gm2 same stuff except replace the banisher with a thunder king.

Round 5 vs John Nixon(sp?)(He was real chill)// Deck: DAD mirror (he ran tech though, mained skill drain,wave motion cannons,gravity bind,etc) I won 2-0 gm1 can't really remember except that it was close and i won with wind blast on his moster attacking wit a synchro,i believe stardust, for game. gm 2 was real close: it all came down to him having Stratos and Stardust, Gravity bind, wave motion, a f/d s/t, and a f/d Skill Drain(iKnow cause i had wind blast it the turn b4). i controlled a reaper in defense, and a f/d monster with decree and torrential set with MST,raiza,and some other card in hand,also a mali and plague in grave. If i can't get rid of wave i lose...so i summon raiza to which he plays skill drain, to that i chain torrential, to which he chains stardust....so i then remove mali, mst his f/d to which he chains windblast on mali to which i chain Decree....so i then put the other card on top of my deck synchro for stardust and i attack through his stratos for game.

Round 6 vs some1(my memory during swiss sucks =P)// Deck: Lightsworn I won 2-0 gm1 i just synchro for the synchro duo that kills LS...Colossal and stardust..ouch, he couldn't comeback. gm2 i CCV him then set light mirror and double solemn...u know how that 1 ended...

round 7 vs some AZN kid named Billy ???(he was real polite and honest =])// Deck: DAD mirror I won 2-1 gm1 we both drew kinda bad, but he got this one, gm2 i was able to otk with DAD, Grepher, and double synchros, gm3 i remember he synchro'd for a Goyo to take my TRA..then next turn i syncrho'd for my own Goyo and a Colossal to take back my TRA and kill his goyo...staring down 3 synchros with 1 card in hand he scooped.

So after my match i watch Erin Diaz set Morphing jar wit 3 spells against his opponent (Tom Rogers), only for Tom to go allure, allure, allure, into a stratos + E-Tele for psychic commander, synch for black rose and sweep the field...it was ridic. (u already know who won that)
Once the final standings are posted I find out I came in 8th! (jus made it) so i'm playing Toni Tjandra( he went 7-0) in top8.
After deck checks are done we begin our match.

Top8 vs Toni Tjandra// Deck: DAD Mirror I won 2-1
gm1 i drew trash..double Mali, double krebons, simply put i lost.
gm2 he was able to bring out Plasma and CCV'd me hitting 2 targets, and on the last turn i set my in hand reborn, and play allure drawing diamond dude and PSZ! i was lyk wow, great draw. and i had Mali in grave. so i remove mali normal summon psz synch for colossal, then remove my other mali, reborn my plague and synch for another colossal. i attack his plasma and stratos and end, with jus 1 in hand he scoops and we go to gm3.
gm3 it was a long game, at 1 point hes able to bring out DAD to which he blows up my wind blast, and CCV to which i chain. he lets it go and ends with 3 backrows and 1300 to my 1800..so i draw for turn and summon T King Rai-Oh, and i attack for game.
so now i play George Velasquez in top4
Top4 vs George Velasquez// Deck: DAD Mirror
gm1 i remember him tryin to wind blast my backrow which was MST and i chain to destroy i believe his f/d solemn, then i jus leave him with krebons and lyk 1-3 cards in hand(cant really remember) in the end i hold back in terms of attacking and instead play too conservative which gives him the game.
gm2 i remember took forever as we both drew bad, but i take it...i synchro'd for something(can't recall...maybe colossal??)
gm3 again another dragged out game. i remember at one point i play thought ruler, and attack his cauis to put me at 33 to his i believe 900. i end with a f/d oppression and no hand. he draws, plays allure, summons breaker, breaks, then synchs for goyo to take my TRA. so now after a few turns the field becomes his lyk4-5 synchros to my lone reaper. i cant remember how he got it...i think he brain controlled reaper?? i cant recall, again my memory isn't the greatest. so i lost but i was cool, i was glad to top4 so i couldn't complain:)
3rd/4th playoffs vs Frank Strick
gm1 i'll admit i played quite reckless, thus misplaying which pretty much gave him this one.
gm2 he brings out DAD and colossal, destroys my f/d Torrential and grepher, then attacks into mirror force! Lol. im then able to make a comeback and take it with a stardust.
gm3 he just went aggro and was able to bring out 4 synchros. my hand at that point was 2 Mali, a dead DAD and brain (i was at 100 Lp) there was nothing i could do. o wellz
so i get the National 07 Cyber Draon Mat, (24) crossroad packs (24 )5d's packs, (21) tp6 packs, (3) Cp2 packs and (1) phantom darkness pack,,,not bad for $20.
