MOUNTAIN WALL (TRAINER-Stadium)
Pokemon with a maximum of HP of 70 or less can't use Poke-Powers.

Chuck the Seel and Dewgong for some random stuffs and you're fine. Probably Pokemon Nurse, you REALLY need it here. Walried will be taking too much damage, both from the Dancing and the Archie. I hope this decks makes it; however, the damage from Rain Dance just may be too overwhelming.

Hey if you really want to make a ultimake rain dance deck i would say you need to take out some cards like seels and dewgongs with TA walrein and milotics cause you don't really need them, and just max out blastoise ex and dunsparce and add some suicune ex and fisherman to get your energy back and your opponent would be dead hello fast with suicune ex active and blastoise ex benched and just use reverse stream every turn and that's what i got to say.

I don't know modified very well but doesn't Wobbuffet and Desert Ruins destroy a deck that relies too heavily on ex cards? I'd keep Suicune out of this deck.

By the time Blastoise ex is translated into English, Pokemon Nurse will more than likely be illegal for Modified.

Oh, and something that should be said for those that don't know it yet:
Blastoise ex's Rain Dance is different from the Base Set one's in the fact that you must put a damage counter on the Pokemon you Rain Dance an Energy to for every Energy you attach (WWWW yields 4 damage counters, for example).

Well I'm going to post my first opinion about Blastoise ex. Everybody is saying that Blex is gonna be the new archetype and dominate everything and yes they are 100% correct. It was only a matter of time that they were gonna print a "new" and returning Blastoise like the ol' Base Set one. Blex is gonna blow Blaziken out of the water period. But its gonna open up some new strategies in the new set. The new Fire Red/Leaf Green set is gonna be released by the end of August and there having PreRelease tournaments all across the nation.
Mainly, you maybe want to add more drawing cards to the deck like TV Reporter. You got enough Steven's Advice but to get Blex out fast you need more drawing.

Since the effects of Blastoise ex, I didn't notice it before and this deck is gonna be hard to play. Let's see, if you gonna put milotics in there its effect won't help you(healing shower excludes pokemon-ex). So another better choice would be max out all the healing cards like oran berry, potion, pk nurse and life herb(kinda good) or you can add the amphoros that got the energy connect power to transfer all the water energy to your active pokemon so it won't take any damage and then use pokemon nurse on those damaged pokemon due to rain dance effect. So this is another good technique and it will helpful if you really want to play blastoise ex.

oh my god. some of you people just don't get it do you? first of all, this is an RS-on deck. that means NO nurse, NO fisherman, and NO town volunteers. second of all, nobody with a brain in their skull would use blastex's energy rain on himself, since he'd be unhealable by milotic. milotic is there to heal the main attackers of the deck, not just blastex. now, back to the updated deck:
Pokemon x23
4 Squirtle
2 Wartortle
3 Blastoise ex
3 Dunsparce SS
3 Magnemite DR (thundershock)
3 Magneton DR (magnetic field)
2 Feebas HL
2 Milotic HL
Trainers x22
4 TV Reporter
3 Steven's Advice
3 Rare Candy
3 Professor Oak's Research
2 Switch
2 Celio's Network
2 Island Cave
2 Mr. Briney's Compassion
1 ATM Rock
Energy x16
16 Water Energy

First of all your deck got 61 cards, not 60 and there's a problem with that.Second, no professor oak's research in rs-on decks cause it's from expedition.Third, the attackers seems weak except milotic and like magneton and it only got 70 hp so it can't stand a chance against big pokemons even you got tons of energy on him or it'll be one hit ko from some ex pokemons.I think that people prefer to use blastoise for the attackers but the ex version seems weak and useless in rs-on decks cause you can't use pokemon nurse.Overall, I might say this deck is hard to play but you can go try it and see what happens.

Rofl.
First: It's 60 cards.
Second: POR is in FR&LG.
Third: Magneton does lots of damage with some good rain dancing.
Four: Useless? XD
Five: I played against one in a tournament last Sunday. The guy who played the deck used some serious drawpower (Delcatty, TV Reporter, Steven) and just OHKOed all of my pokémon with Magneton.
And man, I play Gex. Lotsa damage. Killed one Maggy, and out came another and OHKOed Gex. :p
Uh, for everyone: The guy won the tournament with that Blex deck, killed all Bex- and Team Magma decks..
And other Gardy-decks, I tell you.

Hey Blastoise ex sucks, you put one damage counter for every water energy you attached to your pokemon using energy rain's effect.I think it's not a good card in any ways unless you found out some combos.

Of course, Blastoise is a stage 2 pokemon and dealing 80 damage won't be unusual compare to Gardevoir ex psystorm which does like 120 damage just at the midgame.
