SB's Yu-Gi-Oh Series
Episode 3: Machine Raiders!
Joey and Serenity were still running away from {A}. They didn't know he had long left though to retreat back to his "hidden" cave base thingy. Joey and Serenity decided to go to Duke's place and tell Yami.
SETTING: The Dark Spooky Cave Place
{A} had three other guys in the cave with him now. "Gentlemen I've called you here for one reason. Now who are you three men, I just want to clarify that you are who you said you are."
Three men in cloaks removed their cloaks. The left man had short black hair and brown eyes. He was somewhat tan with a scar symbol on his right cheek. He stood about 5'12. "My name is The Dark One; my friends call me DO. I am an Ex-Rare Hunter."
The middle man had long, spiked up blonde hair and brown eyes. He was tan with a scar symbol on his left cheeck. He stood at least 6'4. "My name is The Mighty One; you can call me MO. I am also an Ex-Rare Hunter. I retired because our master left us."
The man on the right was the only one remaining. He had no hair and had blue eyes. He was very tan and his scar symbol was on his forehead. He seemed about 6'1. "They call me The Destructive One, but I prefer DEO."
All three men's scars looked like the "infinity" sign, but ancient writing in the gaps.
{A} smiled. "So, DO, MO and DEO eh? Welcome to my area. I am {A}, your recruiter. I understand your master Marik has turned to the side of good and you are searching for a new job. I can help you with this, as, I too, wish to defeat Yugi and his friends. I also understand you wish to obtain the Egyptian God Cards."
"That is correct," DO said. "We wish to obtain them for our dueling decks. Since we are the only Rare Hunters left, and we heard about you in the underground areas, we figured you would be the best employer."
"Oh, ha, do not worry my friends," {A} said. "I only have simple tasks for you at the moment. First in order to gain everything we need, I need the three of you to use your current Duel Monsters decks! I have jobs for each of you.
"DEO, The Destructive One, you shall be journeying to Duke Deblin's card shop. There I have a feeling you will meet Yami Yugi and Joey Wheeler, for he seemed to be running in that general direction. It is there that you will demand to duel somebody there for possession of the Millennium Item that Yami Yugi is holding. If you obtain it, Yami will not be able to hold his balance in our dimension, and he'll be trapped in that item. Whether you win or lose, you will return to this cave after you exit the building."
"DO, The Dark One, you too, shall be traveling inside the city. You will go to Yugi's Grandfather's Game Shop. It is there in that store that you will request a duel with Tea Gardener. You will make the stipulation that if you win, you will gain the three Egyptian God Cards. The rest of the Millennium Items are there too, but we do not want nor have enough to make a large challenge such as that. After the duel is over, you will leave Game Shop, run towards the first tree you see and you will be returned to the cave entrance."
The three Rare Hunter brothers looked at each other in amazement. "You sure seem to know what you're doing," MO said.
"Yes I do," {A} said. "And, MO, The Mighty One, you will be traveling. Traveling quite a long distance I might add, but a warp sphere my Millennium Clock has made will fix the travels. You are traveling to Egypt, where you will find Seto Kaiba, Marik and Ishizu Ishtar. It is there that they are going to bury the Ishtar Family Tomb. You will prevent that action, as there is a card in that tomb that's buried deep, and we need it. You will request a duel with Marik Ishtar himself, your old master. You will say that if you win, Marik and Ishizu must hand over the two keys to the Inner Chambers. You will search until you find the card in the ancient tombs there. Once you have obtained the card and safely inserted it into your deck, the warp sphere will teleport you back into the cave. You'll each need a duel disk with you, there's some on the table over there. You three have been given your assignments, any questions?"
DEO raised his hand. "Hey, {A}, how do you know where all these guys are?"
{A} laughed. "Let's just say I've used my Millennium Clock once before to turn time back so that I could be where I'm standing now." (Explained in Prolouge)
MO was warped and DO and DEO left the cave to go back to Domino City.
{A} had a nice chair in the back of the room, so he sat in it. "Thus it begins....now I just sit here and wait. Wait, I can't sit here and wait, I have to go do something. Ah yes, the small dueling tournament in the park. It is there that I shall meet Yugi and, um, the other one, Rebecca."
SETTING: Egypt, Ancient Ishtar Tomb
Kaiba, Marik and Ishizu were working on how to knock down the pillars. Kaiba had brought two choppers with wrecking balls on them and they were planning on how to do it so the tomb would fall in place. "I still don't think we should move the first one there..." Kaiba said. "I would think that the 4th one should fall there and the 1st just fall forward."
Marik was sitting down. Ishizu came over to him. "My brother, I know it is going to be difficult for you to leave this tomb, but if it's left then robbers may find it."
Marik looked at his sister. "Ishizu you're right, but I can't let it go. I spent most of my life in that tomb. It was like the only home I had. But destroying it also completely rids of the world of my evil spirit."
The room Kaiba and his planners and Marik and Ishizu were in was definitely large enough to hold a duel. It was just a large room, with a large ceiling and large enough space. MO appeared behind one of the large pillars and peered in every once in a while to see where Marik was.
"Well sis," Marik said as he stood up. "I guess we're finally going to be rid of the evil that is in this tomb."
They had a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug.
"Now that's touching...." MO said, realizing this was a good time to catch Marik off guard.
Kaiba turned to MO. "Do you work for me? Where did you come from?"
MO laughed. "Stupid Seto, how could I work for you."
Marik scowled. "Kaiba..."
Kaiba turned to Marik now. "What?"
"That guy used to be one of my Rare Hunters back when my evil spirit possessed me, watch out."
"Get out of here, Rare Hunter. Nobody wants you here."
"Oh," MO said. "But I want me here."
Kaiba dropped his clipboard. "Listen you little rodent, get out."
"Don't waste your time on him Kaiba," Marik said, stepping forward. "He used to be The Mighty One."
"You shall call me MO," MO said.
"Whatever," Kaiba said. "What is it that you want?"
MO smiled and took out his dueling deck. "Marik, you and Ishizu have something I need. You have two keys, do you not? I need them."
"Go away," Ishizu said. "And never return to this place. This area will be buried soon! You cannot have the keys!"
Kaiba looked interested now. "What are these....keys for?"
Marik sighed. "Well, Kaiba, they unlock the doors to the inner chamber, where this tomb holds a dark secret. I do not want you, or anybody else in there MO!"
MO sighed. "Well, old master, then I'll duel you for the keys! I have brought a duel disk with me!"
Marik looked angry. "Fine, MO. If that is the only thing that will make you leave this cave, then I shall duel you, and if you win myself and Ishizu will hand over the keys, but if you lose, you will NEVER bother us again!"
MO smiled. "Agreed."
Marik turned to Kaiba. "Please tell me that.."
Kaiba smiled a bit and held out a duel disk. "I don't know who doesn't care one anymore. Ishizu and I will just watch."
MO and Marik placed their decks in their chambers and they were automatically shuffled.
MO and Marik looked at each other in unison. "LET'S DUEL!"

SETTING: Duke Deblin's Shop
Everybody had just gotten done eating, and were stuffed. They all just laid around for a while, except Yami, who kept looking out the window.
Yami just stared blankly outside, in his thoughts. 'How can we know if Marik can ever be trusted by anybody ever again. He's tried on so many occasions to send me to the Shadow Realm and take my puzzle. Mai is right, he is a different person now, but I still don't think it's much different. Prehaps we'll have to wait and see.'
SETTING: The Park
Yugi and Rebecca continued walking around, looking for the tournament. They must've found it....
"Well well well, look what we've got here!" It was Bandit Keith! Bandit Keith had returned....again! "If it isn't little Yugi and, who's this? Does Yugi have a little girlfriend? Yugi isn't she a little young for you? Or did you lie about your age?"
Yugi looked at Keith in disgust. "*Sigh* What do you want Keith..."
Keith smiled. "Well hey Yugi, I thought you would've known that I'm hosting a small tournament here."
Rebecca got in Keith's face. "That's right bub, we know! We're here to enter it and win!"
Keith stood there for a minute, then him and the others there started laughing. "Look at this here, the little pip-squeak wants in on the tournament! This is priceless!"
"Hey what's wrong with me entering?"
"Nothing there....little princess." More laughing by others. Yugi stood there and kind of backed off.
"Listen there pal! I'm probably a better duelist than you'll ever be! My name is Rebecca, I am not Yugi's girlfriend and I came here to enter the tournament! So are you gonna let me in or not?"
Keith laughed a while longer. "Whatever you say, squirt. Hey Mike. Enter in Yugi and Big Girl Rebecca into the tournament."
Rebecca looked at Keith evilly. 'I'll make that meanie pay.'
Yugi began going over his deck. Him and Yami had divided their cards and made seperate decks for themselves. They had obtained doubles of their favorite cards like Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Buster Blader, and they of course combined cards again for major tournaments.
SETTING: The Ancient Tomb
Marik and MO drew their five cards. A dice each appeared on their side and rolled. Marik's rolled a 5 and MO's rolled a 4. "Ok then," Marik said. "I'll take the first move! First I'll play a monster in defense mode and place one card face-down! Your turn."
MO drew his card. "Master, I know what to expect of you."
"We'll just see about that, won't we MO. The other Marik you watched duel was more evil than me, now I duel for at least honor if nothing else. I also duel to hopefully repair one day all the damage I've done. So take your move!"
"Very well, former master. I play one card face-down and summon my Robotic Knight in Attack Mode! (1600/1800) Go my Robotic Knight, attack!"
Marik flipped his monster up. "You have attacked my Humanoid Slime, looks like you lose 400 life points!"
"Ergh..."

Marik drew his next card. "Well since your Robotic Knight can't destroy my Humanoid Slime, I'll play one more card face-down and end my turn!"
MO drew his card. "I play Jinzo #7 in attack mode! (500/400) It has the ability to attack your lifepoints directly! I'll also set another card face-down on the field."

Marik drew his card. 'He wants me to attack him, well I'm gonna give him a reason to attack me!' Marik smirked a little. "I'll play one monster in defense mode and end my turn!"
MO drew his card. "I'll play my Witch of the Black Forest in Attack Mode! (1100/1200) Jinzo #7, attack his life points!"

Ishizu was worried. "Oh no, MO is taking a slight lead."
Kaiba laughed. "Don't worry I'm sure Marik has some big plan."
MO sneered. "Now my Robotic Knight, attack his face-down monster!"
Marik turned it up. You have destroyed my Snake Pot (600/300), but because you turned it face-up, I can Special Summon one Cobra Token in Attack Mode! (1300/1200)"
Marik drew his card. "And now my Cobra Token will attack your Witch of the Black Forest!"

MO searched his deck for his card and placed it in his hand. "That all, Marik?"
Marik nodded, so MO drew his card.
"Ah good," MO said. "My plan is slowly falling into place. Soon your keys will be mine!"
"We shall see...."
"I shall set one card face-down on the field and have my Robotic Knight attack your Cobra!"

Marik smiled. "You forgot one thing!"
"What's that?"
"When you destroy my token, it deals 500 points of damage to your lifepoints!"

"That's not all though, MO. I'm flipping a Trap Card called Reckless Greed! It lets me draw 2 cards and skip my next 2 draw phases!" Marik took his two cards.
"That's stupid," MO said. "But whatever, I end my turn."
FIRST DRAW PHASE
Marik had his two cards. "I now activate a magic card I had face-down, Mystical Space Typhoon!"
MO flipped one of his trap cards over. "Hold on, I activate Imperial Order! It prevents you from doing such things, and then I'll chain it with my Trap Caller! Everytime a Trap Card is used, I gain 500 Life Points!"

Marik continued his turn. "Since I can't play Magic Cards, I'll summon Dark Jelloid in Atta-"
"Hold on Marik, for I have one last Trap Card I can play! Torrental Tribute! It destroys ALL monsters on the field!"

Every monster went to the graveyard and Marik again continued his turn. "Well now I'll have to end my turn."
MO smiled and drew his card. "That's right Marik, soon it will all be over. I shall pay 700 life points to keep Imperial Order on the field!"
"A costly mistake," Marik said.
"Shut up, we'll see."

MO 3200 LP
"Now I summon my Cannon Keeper in Attack Mode! (1300/1050)" A large silver cannon appeared over the field. A small black figure appeared and loaded a bronze cannon ball into the cannon. "Now my Keeper, attack-"
Marik flipped a trap. "Hold on, I activate Unholy Calamity! When my opponent declares an attack, I can destroy all magic and trap cards on the field!"
All trap cards were destroyed and MO didn't look happy. "You'll pay for that one, Marik."
Marik laughed. "We shall see..."

Ishizu was worried more now. "Marik is losing by more than half."
Kaiba still had some faith though. "Don't worry, he just cleared the field pretty much, I think he's got the duel in the bag on this next move."
FINAL DRAW PHASE
Marik couldn't draw again, but it didn't matter. He had a plan. "Go Rekunga in Attack Mode! (1700/500) Attack his monster!"

MO drew his card. He liked the card he had gotten. "I'll place one card face-down on the field...and summon Shining Angel in Attack Mode! (1400/1000)"
Marik, Kaiba and Ishizu looked surprised. The card he had just played was not a machine, which most of his other monsters had been.
Kaiba saw MO's plan. "He wants Marik to attack him."
Ishizu nodded. "Agreed, he has a trap card face-down."
Kaiba thought to himself. 'It's not only the trap card, but it's Angel's effect.'
MO continued. "Not only that, but I set yet another card face-down and end my turn."
Marik drew his card. "I'll summon Dark Jerroid in Attack Mode! (1200/1500) It lowers Shining Angel's attack points by 800! (600/1000) Rekunga! Attack it!"
MO flipped a trap card. "Activate Metalizing Machine!" A large machine appeared and a hand grabbed Shining Angel and put it inside. The machine disappeared and Shining Angel had been turned into a machine monster and it was pumped up a little. (1600/1000)
Marik looked at MO. "Your powerup did not stop it from being destroyed."

MO smiled, "Oh but I will need them for now."
"Why?"
"Shining Angel's Special Effect of course! I can summon a light monster with an attack of 1500 or below in attack mode! Go forth my Satellite Cannon in Attack Mode! (0/0)"
Marik looked at it in amazement. "I can't believe I've never seen that card before!"
MO laughed. "Yes, and it will be your demise!"
"We'll see...Dark Jerrioid attack it!"
Dark Jerrioid attacked Satellite Cannon and it looked like it was going to blow up, but it put itself back together!

"Sorry Marik, but Satellite Cannon can't be destroyed in battle from monsters that are level 7 or below! That's not it's only effect though! Soon I'll have an army of Satellite Cannons running wild on your life points!"

Yami Bakura spoke up. "I don't know, let me count.....1....2....3....4....5....6....7....8...9 ...10...11...12....13......14.....15.....16...17.. ...18.....19....20.....21......22.....23.....24... .25...."
Yami Yugi fell asleep.

Marik and MO drew their five cards. A dice each appeared on their side and rolled. Marik's rolled a 5 and MO's rolled a 4. "Ok then," Marik said. "I'll take the first move! First I'll play a monster in defense mode and place one card face-down! Your turn."
MO drew his card. "Master, I know what to expect of you."
"We'll just see about that, won't we MO. The other Marik you watched duel was more evil than me, now I duel for at least honor if nothing else. I also duel to hopefully repair one day all the damage I've done. So take your move!"
"Very well, former master. I play one card face-down and summon my Robotic Knight in Attack Mode! (1600/1800) Go my Robotic Knight, attack!"
Marik flipped his monster up. "You have attacked my Humanoid Slime, looks like you lose 400 life points!"
"Ergh..."

Marik drew his next card. "Well since your Robotic Knight can't destroy my Humanoid Slime, I'll play one more card face-down and end my turn!"
MO drew his card. "I play Jinzo #7 in attack mode! (500/400) It has the ability to attack your lifepoints directly! I'll also set another card face-down on the field."

Marik drew his card. 'He wants me to attack him, well I'm gonna give him a reason to attack me!' Marik smirked a little. "I'll play one monster in defense mode and end my turn!"
MO drew his card. "I'll play my Witch of the Black Forest in Attack Mode! (1100/1200) Jinzo #7, attack his life points!"

Ishizu was worried. "Oh no, MO is taking a slight lead."
Kaiba laughed. "Don't worry I'm sure Marik has some big plan."
MO sneered. "Now my Robotic Knight, attack his face-down monster!"
Marik turned it up. You have destroyed my Snake Pot (600/300), but because you turned it face-up, I can Special Summon one Cobra Token in Attack Mode! (1300/1200)"
Marik drew his card. "And now my Cobra Token will attack your Witch of the Black Forest!"

MO searched his deck for his card and placed it in his hand. "That all, Marik?"
Marik nodded, so MO drew his card.
"Ah good," MO said. "My plan is slowly falling into place. Soon your keys will be mine!"
"We shall see...."
"I shall set one card face-down on the field and have my Robotic Knight attack your Cobra!"

Marik smiled. "You forgot one thing!"
"What's that?"
"When you destroy my token, it deals 500 points of damage to your lifepoints!"

"That's not all though, MO. I'm flipping a Trap Card called Reckless Greed! It lets me draw 2 cards and skip my next 2 draw phases!" Marik took his two cards.
"That's stupid," MO said. "But whatever, I end my turn."
FIRST DRAW PHASE
Marik had his two cards. "I now activate a magic card I had face-down, Mystical Space Typhoon!"
MO flipped one of his trap cards over. "Hold on, I activate Imperial Order! It prevents you from doing such things, and then I'll chain it with my Trap Caller! Everytime a Trap Card is used, I gain 500 Life Points!"

Marik continued his turn. "Since I can't play Magic Cards, I'll summon Dark Jelloid in Atta-"
"Hold on Marik, for I have one last Trap Card I can play! Torrental Tribute! It destroys ALL monsters on the field!"

Every monster went to the graveyard and Marik again continued his turn. "Well now I'll have to end my turn."
MO smiled and drew his card. "That's right Marik, soon it will all be over. I shall pay 700 life points to keep Imperial Order on the field!"
"A costly mistake," Marik said.
"Shut up, we'll see."

"Now I summon my Cannon Keeper in Attack Mode! (1300/1050)" A large silver cannon appeared over the field. A small black figure appeared and loaded a bronze cannon ball into the cannon. "Now my Keeper, attack-"
Marik flipped a trap. "Hold on, I activate Unholy Calamity! When my opponent declares an attack, I can destroy all magic and trap cards on the field!"
All trap cards were destroyed and MO didn't look happy. "You'll pay for that one, Marik."
Marik laughed. "We shall see..."

Ishizu was worried more now. "Marik is losing by more than half."
Kaiba still had some faith though. "Don't worry, he just cleared the field pretty much, I think he's got the duel in the bag on this next move."
FINAL DRAW PHASE
Marik couldn't draw again, but it didn't matter. He had a plan. "Go Rekunga in Attack Mode! (1700/500) Attack his monster!"

MO drew his card. He liked the card he had gotten. "I'll place one card face-down on the field...and summon Shining Angel in Attack Mode! (1400/1000)"
Marik, Kaiba and Ishizu looked surprised. The card he had just played was not a machine, which most of his other monsters had been.
Kaiba saw MO's plan. "He wants Marik to attack him."
Ishizu nodded. "Agreed, he has a trap card face-down."
Kaiba thought to himself. 'It's not only the trap card, but it's Angel's effect.'
MO continued. "Not only that, but I set yet another card face-down and end my turn."
Marik drew his card. "I'll summon Dark Jerroid in Attack Mode! (1200/1500) It lowers Shining Angel's attack points by 800! (600/1000) Rekunga! Attack it!"
MO flipped a trap card. "Activate Metalizing Machine!" A large machine appeared and a hand grabbed Shining Angel and put it inside. The machine disappeared and Shining Angel had been turned into a machine monster and it was pumped up a little. (1600/1000)
Marik looked at MO. "Your powerup did not stop it from being destroyed."

MO smiled, "Oh but I will need them for now."
"Why?"
"Shining Angel's Special Effect of course! I can summon a light monster with an attack of 1500 or below in attack mode! Go forth my Satellite Cannon in Attack Mode! (0/0)"
Marik looked at it in amazement. "I can't believe I've never seen that card before!"
MO laughed. "Yes, and it will be your demise!"
"We'll see...Dark Jerrioid attack it!"
Dark Jerrioid attacked Satellite Cannon and it looked like it was going to blow up, but it put itself back together!

"Sorry Marik, but Satellite Cannon can't be destroyed in battle from monsters that are level 7 or below! That's not it's only effect though! Soon I'll have an army of Satellite Cannons running wild on your life points!"

Yami Yugi fell asleep.
