Alright, here's how it works.

You make a post (your H/W list). Obviously it has your cards for trade and a list of cards you want.

You write rules on your post usually. Here are some basic rules you should have:

1. ref rules apply (i'll explain refs later)
2. No rippers (duh)
3. The places you can trade (a lot of ppl trade within US only, but others will shipp to Canada and some might even go World Wide, although highly doubtfull)
4. The website or magazine that you use to determine the prices of the cards ( a LOT of people like to use smedlock.com)

and finally you should leave any and all contact information you wish to give. You can also add other rules like (I only accept black border cards, or whatever. It's your post make your own rules)

and for the ref thing. A ref is basically just a confirmation that you've traded with someone. Let's say you and I make a trade. Lets say we both recieved our cards. We would give each other a ref (you can give refs by posting on the first post in this forum titled "Good/Bad Trader List"). Refs represent how many times you made a succesfull trade, therefore determining how likely you are NOT to ripp people off. The ref rule is not 100% full-proof. Some people have fake refs just to get their count up, but this section of the board is highly trustable (is that a word? lol). Usually, the person with the least refs in a trade sends first unless the two talk it over. Usually if you have a certain number of refs (usually 5+) people will allow you to simul-send.
