Planet series

Forgive me for asking a stupid question, but the second GX manga I got today and the first is all I've seen of that manga. In it it's said that Terra Firma and Big Saturn are part of a planet series of monsters, and presumably Splendid Venus is with them as well. Is the rest of that series known either in the manga or in cards? And importantly, is there a Pluto card:D

The rest of the 5 cards are unknown (Pluto is not a planet anymore), they will be revealed as the manga progresses, although I'll be surprised if Midori doesn't have one.

Pluto is considered a dwarf planet, and is the tenth largest body orbiting around the sun. Nevertheless, should the other planet series cards be made, I would assume that Pluto would get a card, as it has been our ninth planet for decades, and most people are indoctrinated to consider it a planet. Scientists disagree on whether or not it should get its status back.

It bothers me just a bit that The Earth is so different from the other planet cards. It's a fusion card and part of the elemental hero series of monsters. It just doesn't seem independent like the other ones. I know that that is due to the other two being conceived long after The Earth was introduced, but I still think it's a shame.

Well, I think The Earth/Terra Firma works as an E-Hero, since in the manga the Elemental Heroes are trully elemental based and reflect the nature of the actual Earth itself, almost as if they are a subseries of monsters under the mantle of one of the Planet cards. Besides, if it wasn't a Hero, it wouldn't work for Jaden whose main cards will always be the Elemental Heroes.

Its too bad that of all the current existing Planet cards tho...Terra Firma is the ONLY one that sucks...poor Judai...his strongest card is so sad...he might as well make Plasma Vice his best...

There is also another thing to consider. We've only seen 3 Planet Series Monsters so far, and in it, The Earth is the one that seems different. But who's to say that just because Venus and Saturn are independent that the rest will be? They might all each be part of a different theme for all we know.

Oh yeah, probability of seeing the rest is about 6.02%.

They could be part of other series Destiny Hero Mercury maybe? Still I do believe that Midori has one.

I don't want to see D-Heroes in the Manga so I hope not.

Is that considering them in the manga or in real life, because as far as the manga goes all of the character's big name cards are great, and in the real game none of the three are all that great except maybe Venus in some decks. But Terra Firma is obviously only barely good for E-Heroes, and Saturn is pretty much just trash in the OCG.


Also they aren't planning on having Edo/Aster in the manga, so Destiny Heroes probably won't be either, so I doubt there will be a Planet card for that theme.

The BIG SATURN isnt THAT bad...it has potentials...unlike the crap known as Terra Firma...

I mean, lets compare the other two existing Planet monsters with Terra Firma....

SATURN?? Better...it's effect actually becomes useful.

Terra Firma?? Sacrifice a monster on yourside of the field to gain ATK till end of turn....knowing its a E-hero...if it's expendable, its a low atk crap. If the monster has high enough atk to make good use of, its probably a pain to get out....so you better have a REALLY good reason to use it's ability...like if Dark Door is on the field or something, or there is one REALLY powerful monster you are desperate to take down...

You still haven't shown how Saturn is better and doesn't suck, probably because it's supposed potential is just more situational bull from the manga.

terra firma is pretty good.

you can ss a lot of e-heroes, tribute them off for extra room, tribute those off, and fill up your field, then attack.

usually i have had terra firma up to 5700 attack. sometimes 13000 attack

And as I said you can do Assault armor turning your 13000dmg to 26000 or your 5700 to 11400dmg

I just had that same thought.

I'm also thinking that Midori Hibiki could have the 6th, and Tragoedia could have the last two. Obviously, this is just wishful thinking, and chances are, we won't ever hear about the Planet series again...
