when i finish the book im curently reading i need to find some one else to read i went to the library and found the english versions of books 1 & 2 and i wanted to know how much differnce there is betwen the english and ammreican:cool:

Not much, just terms and spelling. Color vs colour, bathroom vs lavatory, stuff like that.

I thought a bathroom was a "water closet" in Britain?

Also, I have a feeling, just a feeling that in Book One they refer to the "Philosopher's Stone" rather than the "Sorceror's Stone." I have no idea why I have this feeling, but I do.

Sorry, my mistake.

Just know that there are term changes. I remember one about a toilet seat being called something else.. you can Google the differences pretty easily.

In the 6th book there is one extra line in the scene where Dumbledore is facing Draco where he mentions something along the lines of that draco can't die if he is already dead inside or something.

Mainly when I googled about this topic, i found that the differences between American Vs Britain English whatever told by someone else above...
