wats the saddest moment in the books or movies to u.
personily i think it was what happend to fred in deathly hallows (trying not 2 spoil it 4 people who havent read).

that was sad. i felt bad that george lost his ear and his brother. :(

yeah, but still, its the classic hero story. besides, harry had never actually fought voldy at full strenth, except in ootp, but dumbledore came to the rescue.

I haven't read the books, but out of the first 3 films that I saw, I would say during that tri-wizard tourney, at the end when Harry comes back with the body of his schoolmate and he wails over it. Great scene, but sad nonetheless.

All the deaths are sad, personally I was upset when Tonks and Lupin were murdered - they were such a great couple and Harry's good friends!

It was pretty sad when Tonks and Lupin died, but the saddest for me when I look back at it is Snape's death.
