Ok I messed up on originally posting this so here's two of the old ones for memory lane.

Episode 38: Joey VS the Dragon Master Part 1

SETTING: Arena #2
TIME: 9:01 AM

Announcer: The next match in arena 2 will be: Joey Wheeler VS....T...H? TH!

Joey came out to the arena. Some crowd members cheered, but most booed. 'Losey ingrates....' Joey muttered to himself. He got into the arena and put his deck in the correct slot. He drew his hand. He laid his hand down. He was ready for TH. Yugi and TH had come close in a duel, but Joey was gonna win.

Announcer: Introducing Joey Wheeler's opponent.....the Dragon Master known as TH!!!!!

Audiance members began chants. "TH!!!! TH!!!! TH!!!!!! TH!!!!!!!!!" Cheer cheer cheer...ok you get the point. TH laughed at Joey.
"I'm going to have to ask for your Red Eyes Black Dragon after this match. It will go good with my dragon deck."
Joey got mad. "Dream on!! I'M gonna win, and your gonna hand over your Tri-Horned Dragon!!!! So get ready to lose."

Announcer: These two have made a bet for this match-up. The coin toss was decided. Joey will move first.

Yugi and Tea were sitting in the audiance. Yugi was staring at his deck. Had the Heart of the Cards really failed him? Yugi had to give his deck a test to be sure. After Joey was done with TH, Yugi would challange him, and defeat him with the Dark Magician, Osiris, or whatever it took. He pulled out some of his spare cards. He began taking cards out and adding some in. Yugi didn't want to look sad or angry in front of Tea, he hid his emotions. He was ready to cry over the fact that he may never again see Yami or Bakura. One thing was for sure though, he needed a plan, and he may have been able to find it by going back to Dbakura. Yugi couldn't pin-point a weakness in the deck. Only the fact that if the Golden God were destroyed, Dbakura might not have any good monsters left.

Joey drew his 6th card. "Alright Dragon-boy! I'm gonna show you how to properly duel!" They put their card decks on the arena panel. The arena was activated and a life point count for both players lit up. "Here's lesson one! I summon Rocket Warrior in Attack Mode! (1500/1300) And I set one card face-down...it's your move."

(Joey=8000 LP) (TH=8000 LP)

TH drew his card. "Hmm....nothing too shabby. I could do better though. I play Komori Dragon in Attack Mode. (1500/1200) It's your move Joey."
Joey drew. Their monsters were equally matched. Joey drew his Red Eyes, but he needed another sacrifice for it, so he couldn't sacrifice anything this turn. "Alright now...I'm gonna play Alligator Sword in Attack Mode. (1500/1200) Alligator! Attack Komori Dragon!" Alligator used his sword and destroyed the Komori Dragon. Both the alligator and dragon were destroyed, but now TH had no monsters on the field. "Heh, now my Warrior! Attack his points directly!"

(Joey=8000 LP) (TH=6500 LP)

TH shrugged and drew. "Ah, here's a nice card. I'll place it face-down on the field. I'll also set a dragon in defense mode. Your turn."
Joey knew that TH was toying with him. "What's the matter!? You think I'm gonna go easy on you! That's it. Now I'm mad! Your toyin with me here, so I'm gonna Noblemen of Crossout your monster! Now Warrior! Wipe out another 1500!"

(Joey=8000 LP) (TH=5000 LP)

TH laughed and drew. "What's wrong Joey, am I not impressing you? I thought you would expect people to go easy on you, but fine, be that way. I play Change of Heart to steal your monster and tribute it for Parrot Dragon! (2000/1300) You want me to play to my best extend, well fine. I'm do just that. Now then, let's use Raise the Dragon on Komori Dragon to put him back in attack mode. (1500/1200) Parrot Dragon! Attack!!!!"
Joey flipped his card. "You're not showin' me your best so far....activate Metallic Plates to re-direct your attack to Komori Dragon!!!!"

(Joey=8000 LP) (TH=4500 LP)

TH ended his turn. He wasn't too happy. Joey Wheeler was beating him. Joey drew his card. 'Ah, just the card I need to shut this guy up.' Joey smirked. "I use Monster Reborn and tribute the monster for Jinzo!!" (2400/1500) "Attack Parrot Dragon!!"

(Joey=8000 LP) (TH=4100 LP)

TH was in a fit now. "Grrr.....that's it! I'm tired of this degree of dueling! It's time to bring you down! First, a Fissure card to wipe out Jinzo! Next, I place 2 cards face-down and play Crazy Cutter Dragon in Attack Mode. (2000/100) Crazy! Attack!!!" Crazy let loose a giant inferno blast and fell asleep.

(Joey=6000 LP) (TH=4100 LP)

Joey drew. "I place this card in defense mode and draw two cards with Pot of Greed."
TH drew. "I'm growing tired of dueling you. I play Tribute to the Doomed and discard this dragon to destroy your face-down monster." Joey's Baby Dragon was sent to the graveyard. "I now use Graverobber to steal your monster reborn and use it to revive the card I just discarded.....Tri-Horned Dragon!!!! (2850/2350) Crazy! (2000/100) Tri-Horned! Attack!"

(Joey=1150 LP) (TH=4100 LP)

Joey was angry. "Oh, so that's how you wanna play, eh? Ok, I'll play as dirty as you! First, I draw. Yes! Now I play Graverobber, and steal YOUR GRAVEROBBER to take a Monster Reborn from my own graveyard! I play Dark Hole to rid the field of all your cruddy monsters! I play Mystical Space Tyhoon to destroy the very first card you played. And now, again, Monster Reborn for Tri-Horned Dragon! (2850/2350)"
TH was now very angry. "Grrrr!!!!! I'm growing very tired of this back and forth with us!"
Joey laughed. "Then here's another taste of your own medicine!" Tri-Horned dragon attacked TH directly.

(Joey=1150 LP) (TH=1250 LP)

TH's eyes grew wide. He didn't like being attacked directly with his best cards. "Fine Joey, we'll do it that way if you want it. Luckily, I always have back-up for these kinds of things. Go! Dragon Capture Jar! Now no more dragons can attack. And just to sweeten things, a DNA Surgery to turn everything into Dragons!!! Now neither of us can attack! I set Blackland Fire Dragon in Defense mode. (1500/800) I flip my last card, Rain of Mercy and end my turn."

(Joey=2150 LP) (TH=2250 LP)

Yugi and Tea were watching in the stands. Yugi didn't tell Tea about what had happened on the 100th floor. "So, where's Bakura and Tristan?" Tea asked Yugi. Yugi froze.
"Well, I haven't seen Tristan...and Bakura....he's....around...." Whew, he thought. Luckily Joey had taught Yugi how to lie quick-wittedly.
"Oh ok, man. Joey and TH are really goin at it. I know Joey can still pull it off though."
"Of course he can, if he trusts in the Heart of the Cards of course!"
Someone laughed. "Oh please! Could you be anymore takin in something that does not exist!?" It was Brian. He had Nathan, Amy, and Jesse with him.
Brian sat down next to Yugi. Yugi turned to Brian. "Can't you see what the Heart of the Cards has helped accomplish? It helped me beat you."
Brian laughed. "Oh come on Yugi. You had like 10 cards left in your deck. We knew you were going to draw that card sooner or later. Besides, you still had about 3 turns before I really beat you. You had time to get that card. Anyway, I won't be making that mistake again. When we next duel, I'm gonna get that Undisputed Title from you, so watch your back!"
"I sense that you remade your deck then."
"Of course I did! What idiot wouldn't after losing to you? Well, maybe Seto Kaiba." Everyone even Yugi laughed. Then they stopped because they didn't think it was that funny for some reason.
"Well, I heard Kaiba's made some changes to his deck."
"Oh he did? Well, too bad I'll never play against him."
"Why not?"
"Well, I did the math and calculations, and throughout this entire tornament, he won't be matched up against me."
"Why not?....again?"
"You see, I've already beaten Seto 3 times....once in a tornament, and twice at Duelist Kingdom.. (refer to episodes 7-8, and 23-25)
"Oh, I see....but if you make the finals."
"Hey, I already mentioned that I'm not staying for the entire thing, now really. I got things to do now, catch you later....hey, where's your puzzle?"
Yugi grew nervous again, especially since Tea heard that question. "Oh, well...you know that polishing store they have here? I left it there, kinda dusty."
"Ah, I see....well, as I said...later." Brian, Amy, Jesse, and Nathan left. Yugi again whewed himself. Tea acually bought that lie.

Duel Review:

(Joey=2150 LP) (Tri-Horned Dragon=2850/2350) (No magic/trap)
(TH=2250 LP) (Blackland Fire Dragon=1500/800) (Dragon Capture Jar, DNA Surgery)

Joey drew his card. "Well since I can't attack, I'll end my turn."
TH drew. "Hmm........it's time Joey."
Joey was confused. "Eh, time for what?"
"It's time for you to lose, and to reveal my true nature. I destroy the DNA Surgery and Dragon Capture Jar with Heavy Storm. And now I sacrifice my Blackland Dragon to summon a pretty strong card. I summon the Beast of Talwar in Attack Mode! (2400/2150)"
Joey was amazed. "Wow, that card's rare. I should know. Where'd you get that card?"
TH chuckled. "Oh, a good friend traded it to me. I gave him a Relinquished for it."
"Wow, Tristan and I did the....exact.........same......................... ..thing...." He looked at his hand and saw the Relinquished. His mouth dropped wide open. Tea and Yugi were on the edges of their seats.
TH laughed. "That's right Joey!!! I'm really......" he ripped his cloak off. "TRISTAN TAYLOR!!!!"

Episode 39: Joey VS the Dragon Master Part 2

SETTING: Arena #2
TIME: 9:21 AM

TH laughed. "That's right Joey!!! I'm really......" he ripped his cloak off. "TRISTAN TAYLOR!!!!"
Yugi and Tea were amazed. Joey was speechless. Joey pointed his finger at Tristan. "But...but....why....would my best buddy duel me for the one good card I've got, The Red Eyes Black Dragon?"
Tristan had a dark look on his face. "Joey, it's all about the dueling now, ya hear? Look, we're still good friends and all, but while this tornament's going...I'll duel anyone for the right cards in order to get the Undisputed Championship title. I need that title man. Throughout my dueling career, I've been defeated in every single duel. This will be my very first major win, over the kid who tried to teach me how to play. While you and the others were off at Duelist Kingdom defeating the legendary U.D.G. team, I was here buying packs and more packs just to improve my deck. To test it, I played a bunch of kids, and they all began to look up to me. I dueled this old man that a crowd loved. The winner was to be named Dragon Master. So I played him and won with my army of Tri-Horned Dragons.
"Next, I needed to make sure I knew what I was doing. So, when you all came back, I challanged Yugi to a duel, and had sign-ups come later, I would've won against Yugi. My next card was a Stop Defense card, and I could've taken the win over Yugi, but no. I wanted to face Yugi in this tornament and beat him, so I paid off some workers here to have me face you, Joey. My plan was that after I beat you, Yugi would come to the rescue and try to get your Red Eyes back. But I also had another back-up plan you see. I would beat Yugi and claim Osiris the Sky Dragon and add it to my dragon army.
"After that, I would go on to face Seto Kaiba. And having a card of Yugi's, I knew I'd beat him. After beating Kaiba, I would go on to join all the big Duel Monster tornaments. I'd win boxes of cards and ultra rare cards. The only problem in the beginning, was that I knew I'd eventually have to duel with Marik and his Rare Hunters, so that's why I needed to beat you and Yugi. I had it all perfectly worked out, but I couldn't leave you in the dark Joey, so I decided to reveal myself to you."
Joey was trying to take all the information in. His brain decided to take it all in. For once, Joey understood and nodded his head. "I see Tristan, so you had a master plan kinda?"
Tristan nodded. "That's correct Joey. And if our friendship wasn't so strong, you'd still be dueling the one you know as TH. But I can't do that. I'm not some bad guy like Kaiba, Brian, or Marik. So that's why I revealed myself." Kaiba came in and smacked Tristan, then claimed he wasn't evil. Right....
Joey admired Tristan for his honesty, but this was a serious duel here. "Alright Tristan, I understand, but how did you get started with this?"
"Well, it's pretty strange when I think about it..."

FLASHBACK, change your clocks yet again

Setting: Episode 17-20 time period, Domino City Card Shop

(Tristan=0 LP) (Some...kid=8000 LP)

"Dang," Tristan said. "I can't win a duel against anyone!"
The kid stood up. "Ah calm down kid, here, join me in buying some packs of Blue Eyes.
"Eh, sure...." Tristan bought three. He passed through the commons and flipped over the three rares. "Hmm, Red Eyes!?!? Sweet! Whoa! A Curse of Dragon! And the last one.....Tri-Horned Dragon!?!?"
The card shop keeper looked up from his magazine. His name was Chris, but he prefered the name Culex. He was the only one in town that never met or saw Mayor C in person. "Wow, a Tri-Horned Dragon!? I'll give you an entire box of Blue Eyes White Dragon for that card."
Tristan laughed. "No way! This card is so powerful!"
The card shop keeper challanged Tristan to a duel for it. If Tristan won, he would give him another Tri-Horned Dragon. So, they dueled. Tristan took an earlly lead with his new Curse of Dragon. Chris never got the cards he wanted and lost the duel. The card shop shut down because Chris ditched the place after his loss. Tristan now had 2 Tri-Horned Dragons. So now, everyone either goes to Yugi's Grandfather's shop, or Duke Deblin's place. (The Dungeon Dice Monsters guy)
Tristan decided that he had luck with dragons. So, he began to duel people for dragon cards. And that's how he got his deck that he's using today.

Tristan finally dueled some kid for the title of Dragon Master. He won, and renamed himself TH. It didn't mean anything special, he just didn't want anyone to know who he really was. And that's where we go back to him and Joey dueling.

END FLASHBACK, you get to fix your clocks again

Joey's brain took it in again. "I see..."
Tristan smiled. "Good, then let this war continue....I believe it's still my turn."

(Joey=2150 LP) (Tri-Horned Dragon=2850/2350)
(Tristan=2250 LP) (Beast of Talwar=2400/2150)

Tristan took a card out of his hand. "Well Joey, let's see if you can beat me. I add Axe of Dispair to my Beast! (3400/2150) Use the mighty axe and destroy the Tri-Horned Dragon!!!"
Joey's dragon was blown off the field.

(Joey=1600 LP) (Tristan=2250 LP)

Joey drew his card. He was nervous now. 'Man, I gotta beat my own best friend now! But the bad thing is that he's beating me with the card I traded him! Man, this both sucks and blows.' Joey picked up a weak monster. "I play this card in defense mode and end my turn."
Tristan drew his card. It didn't matter what Joey's card was, because his Beast could destroy it. "Attack!" Joey flipped it.
"It's my Magician of Faith! And now, I can place this magic card back in my hand!" Joey was finding a come-back move. He drew his card. 'Perfect! The Dragon's claw card! This is great! Now I got Tristan beat.' Joey smirked. He had just the right cards in his hand. "I replay Monster Reborn for the Tri-Horned Dragon! (2850/2350) Now, I equip it with Dragon Claw!!! (3450/2350) Dragon! Wipe out that Beast!!!"

(Joey=1600 LP) (Tristan=2200 LP)

Joey was feeling proud of himself. On his next turn, he would play Relinquished to take control of whatever card Tristan had and win by life point damage.
Tristan drew his card. "Sorry Joey, but 'm gonna stop this now. I activate...nothing, I set one face-down card and play Super Dragon in attack mode. (1800/300) Your turn."
Joey drew his card. "Go Black Illusion Ritual! Sacrifice the Dragon for my Relinquished! (0/0) I will absorb that monster of yours!"
Tristan flipped his card face-up. "Sorry Jo. I activate Cancel Out! It destroys your monster's effect!"
Joey realized that he made a mistake sacrificng his Tri-Horned Dragon. "Eh, whoops..."
Tristan didn't draw his card. "Super Dragon! Destroy Joey's Relinquished! End this duel!"

(Joey=0 LP) (Tristan=2200 LP)

Joey couldn't believe it. Tristan took Joey's Red Eyes. "Hey, no hard feelings pal." Tristan put the card in his deck and left. Joey couldn't believe that he had just lost to the kid that he could always beat. It didn't make sense to him. 'How could I lose with my Relinquished? I must have made a huge mistake sacrificing that Tri-Horned Dragon...I should have sacrificed another monster from my hand.'

SETTING: 100th floor
TIME: 10:00 AM

Dbakura was watching the match from the TV. "How pathetic," he said. He laughed at Joey and Tristan. "Their match was so stupid. I would've been able to beat that so called dragon master. Joey quit like a coward. He's so stupid. I might as well find a good canidate to be my slave. Joey or Tristan won't do me any good."
MSM walked in. "Sir? What about Yugi Mutou? You know that you can beat him, and he holds that Egyptian God Card, Osiris the Sky Dragon..."
Dbakura laughed. "I see, well you've had some ideas lately, and they're all pretty good. You keep up the good work, and go improve your deck. I'll be at the dueling arena." And with that in mind, MSM left the room with his deck, ready to improve his beat-down.

SETTING: Arena #2
TIME: 10:02 AM

Tristan was still celebrating his victory. Yugi and Tea were trying to calm Joey down before he pounced and attacked Tristan. Yugi was thinking and how Joey lost his Red Eyes and how he had just lost his Millenium Puzzle. He got mad and stormed off and stood infront of Tristan.
Tristan looked up. "Yugi."
Yugi's eyes were red with anger. "Tristan! You ran away from our last duel, so I challange you right here right now to a duel! If I win, you give me the Red Eyes and Tri-Horned Dragon!"
Tristan was shocked at Yugi's demand. "Even with Osiris, you won't win. You'll give me Osiris when you lose."
Yugi laughed, almost as sounding evil. "Oh, I think you'll be doing the losing."

They got in the arena. Yugi shuffled his deck. He was ready for anything Tristan had to juice out. This match was for losing a duel to Dbakura. Yugi didn't feel right now. He felt wrong inside. He didn't know what was wrong. Tristan drew his cards. "Come on Yugi! Show me what you've got!"
Yugi drew his cards. The Dark Magician was in those 5 cards. He looked at it, and the image of his Dark Magician began to jump out at him.

/Eh?/

///Dark Magician: Yugi, you've got to realize your destiny. You will have the chance to get your puzzle back. But for now, don't cross over to the dark side. Just win this duel and you will see the way.///

/Ok, thank you for always being there for me./

Yugi's face brightened up. "Tristan! Prepare for a new Yugi Mutou strategy! It's time to duel!!!"
