this can be a hold item or a user item. either way.
hold-emerald ring-raises damage recovered by 20%
hold-emerald star-eliminates weakness by 50%.
user-experience serum- raises exp points by half of levels requirement. also raises evs by a moderatly low amount if level up occurs.
any original ideas anyone?

Calm Gene (Opposite of Beserk Gene)
Description: Raises Special Atk, but confuses user as well.

Pokemon Recaller (or Poke Rec for short)
Used to recall forgotten moves, favourite battles, etc. (You can choose your fav 10.)

I'm sure Leelue is sorry, shineyaltaria, and he probably didn't know you had already had a similar idea. With plenty of new posts and threads appearing every day, he probably didn't see yours.

But anyway,

Elemental Band: Like Choice Band, but instead of being locked with one move, locks in the type of the first move you used, so if you attacked with Surf, you could only use Water moves for the battle.

Blessed Powder: (Very rare) Increases all stats temporarily, but lowers accuracy.

i dont know what choice band is.

Threads like this appear on every subject, all over the net, so I'm sure that Noelor (or whoever else you may be thinking of) wasn't the first, shineyaltaria.

Obviously, the person who started this trend never patented his idea, so you can't credit the original starter. (I can't believe I didn't patent my Gardevoir moveset, if I had, I'd probably be making millions. Oh well, at least I have my Swampert 40 EV MC-IB thing.

um, actually i got the idea for my similar thread from SA's thread on the old boards... so it was SA who thought it up... for this particular thing ¬_¬

so, ideas:

Flak Shell
in 2v2, all non-physical attacks the holder uses effect both opponents even if normally they would effect only one

Anti-Air Gun
if the holder uses a non-physical ground-type move against a flying pkmn or one that has Levitate, it will hit

Cycle Band
doubles the power of the holder's moves, but the holder cant use the same move more than once in a row

Summoning Bugle
when the holder uses Roar or Whirlwind, that pkmns trainer chooses which of the opponents pkmn are brought out (you cant choose the one that just got sent out though)

Yes, Noelor, the Prolific Inventor, is correct. I was the first to do the 'create a move' and 'invent an item' threads, first posted on the old boards. The threads were so popular we actually held contests for the best 'inventor'. Fact is, that is how "Prolific Inventor Noelor" EARNED his title.

Anyway, it doesn't matter who thought of it. It is still a fun idea. BTW, if you get enough repsonses, consider holding a contest for 'best invented item' or whatever, like we did. Could be fun.
