I love the game. The rules were easy to understand yet different from alot of the games I play. It was in a sense a breath of fresh air. The sad thing is this game will probably never get any success because people will either think its too kiddy or it will get, no pun intended, over shadowed by all the other mainstream games.

I bought a set of demo decks and rules off ebay so thats how I got whatever little info i have.

I'll try. Basically there are 4 different cards, shadow, character, and i think command and skill cards but i'll have to check on that later since I dont' have the rules on me. One of those last 2 has like different types like weapon type spell and what not.

you start the game off with one lv one shadow in play and that is basically your guardian or what not. in your deck you can have no more then 15 shadows because a shadow can be played from your hand straight to the EXP card pool. The only way to get exp besides that way is by playing cards. When you play a spell or something it goes there after it finishes its effect.

The more cards you have in your exp the stronger the character or spell cards you can use. You can also lv up your shadow if you have enough exp for its requirement.

Every card has like 2 different exp cost requirements one requirement is how much exp you have and the other is how much you need to discard to play that card. Very few require you to discard.

Battle is pretty cool you attack with individual characters which you can only have 3 at one time. and when you defend you use all the characters in your party and add up their defense. if you lose a battle you can discard a character to reduce the damage by 1. Both players have 20 HP.

its a really cool game and I hope its successful.

yeah it comes out in november. I think the breakdown of the set is like 48 uncommons and 8 holo rares and 4 super rares. The rares are 1:1 and the super rares are 1:3 which is really cool. There will be 2 starters with 20 exclusvie cards in each.

Shonen jump magazine previewd a promo lv 1 blue dragon shadow that will be given free in the november issue.

Can we post pics in this board, kinda new to pojo, cuz if we can I can scan the playmat and instuctions if you guys want me to.

I really hope that this game is really in-depth and good, though it may not be like that, seeing as how it's being made by Konami. It would be nice to have a solo play option so you can test your deck and have fun without having to "pretend" that you don't know what is in the other deck's hand.

I only have one. The game doesnt come out until the fall but I just got a Promo Blue Dragon in my newest Shonen Jump.

Types of Cards

Shadow - Your "other" half

Shadows have attack and defense stats, an attribute, and an effect. Shadows can level up and change attributes for a cost. Also as stated before they can be discarded from your hand directly to your EXP pool

Partner - Characters that assist your Shadows in combat

Partners also have attack and defense stats, attributes and effects. They can be used as shields when defending.

Command Card - Cards that can only be played during the Command Phase

Skill Cards - Cards that can only be played during the Battle Phase. The attacking player may only use one skill card per turn the defending character may use as many as possible.

Card Icons:

Attack and Defense - Represent attack and defense. "UP" means an increase in the ability.
Shadow Level - Level of the Shadow.
Attribute - There are 7 different attribute they give you different effects.
Category - There are 9 different categories for Skill and Command.
Group - You can have 3 of the same partner on the field and you can bring them out all at once if you have them in your hand.
Accessory - Command cards that you can equip to you partner cards.
Set - Cards with this symbol may be played face down in the Battlefield before being played. A set card may not be flipped up the same turn.
EXP- Number that represent how many EXP points a card is worth
Required EXP - The amount if EXP needed in your EXP pool to play this card.
Used EXP - The amount of EXP needed to pay for this card. Used EXP goes to the Trash
Level UP - The amount of EXP you need inthe EXP pool to call this card in your hand to the Field
Change EXP - The amount of EXP needed to pay to change the Shadow on the Field to a different Attribute of the same level
