Noobish card(s) question

guess this is where I should ask this...though im not really sure how or what i'm asking really;
I used to collect/play DBZ cards a long time ago. stopped like around the Cell Games saga set.
I have a large amount of cards from sayain through cell games sets, most of which are still in mint/near mint.
I'm wondering if most of them are largely useless and unwanted, or if I should spend time looking through the trade forum and making a list and see what I can get out of them.

Most of the cards will be worthless now. You might be able to get a decent amount of money if you sold it in a big set. Or if you have any ultra rare cards / promos they still might be worth something.

It's still being played online. But that doesn't help to make the real cards worth something...
If you want to hold on to your cards for a few more years they might eventually become worth more again. If the online tournaments become popular enough we will try to hold real tournaments again, which could increase the value of real cards because players will need them again for decks. But even then I don't think there would be a big difference in the value.
