Today is Altira picked by Maverick Hunter

There really isn't a standard cause Altilra has so many different capabilities, so this is the set i use:

Its Altaria
Don't have much of any opinion on this pokemon. Nevr really used it so can't say much. There are better dragons then this one.

This is a nice thing to use if you're not into legendaries (Rayquaza, Dragonite, and Salamence), or if you're not allowed to. Another moveset involves Rest, since you're cured when you switch, but that would defeat the purpose of Dragon Dance. Steel Wing can substitute for HP Fighting since it also works on the 2 types Altaria has problems with: Rock and Ice.

I really hoped Altaria would have be something other than Flying. Ice would have been perfect. Had that been the case, it would be one of my top choices.

Altaria is a versatile pokemon with a decent movepool. You have a choice of different roles it can play on your team. It makes a decent hazer and parattractor as well as can sweep (special or physical).

Some pokemon really lend themselves to one thing. Not so with Altaria. I have like 4 of them lol.

I really wish they would give us a pure Dragon type---final form. That would be so cool.

Altaria can get FalseSwipe in Pokemon Box, now won't that be Useful (sarcasim is hard to show when you typing on the computer)

It also works as a Perish-Trapper with Wobby, but that's such an old idea.

Part of what makes Altaria good is it's versitality, when an opponent sees it they don't know if it's going to be Dragon Dancing, Sunnybeaming,etc.

It makes a good Sunnybeamer.
