I dont think hes ever had a Psychic, Steel, Dark, Dragon Pokemon.

And RareHunter Im not sure but i think Ash might of captured Huanter but im not exactly sure :rolleyes:

Why couldn't he catch a spearow or a fearow? He has run into them many times while near his home. It's not like they are too hard to catch.

There are lots of Pokémon Ash could have caught along the way but didn't... Sharpedo for one. I think it would be cool if he had a Dark-type Pokémon.

Ditto - this could be his most powerful ally yet. As Ditto could obviously take their form and abilities. Especially if he transforms into the newer, powerful pokemon.

I think a Surkuit is what Ash will catch. It seems to be the only new bug-type that seems like something he'd want
I think May will get a Ralts, seeing as it makes a nice Smart Contest Pokemon, and something she'd fall in love with.
And maybe Brock will gewt a Relicanth, since all his new Pokemon are water types so far, and Relicanth is a Rock type.

Here's a list of a few the Pokemon I think Ash could have caught that wouldn't bother anyone else:

Spearow, 1st episode , said he would "capture and defeat all of them"
Beedrill, Samurai Episode, Pikachu zapped it, it couldn't've been any easier
Spearow, Charmander Episode, (Not during the part when it rains) I guess Ash was afraid of them, but it wouldn't hurt to face his fears.
Muk Episode, Magemite, Magnemite was attracted to Pikachu, so it wouldn't mind being caught.
Exeggcutor, Charmander evolves episode, how about one for his troubles?
Sandslash, Bruno epsidoe, It was already weak from being stuffed inside an Onix even Pikachu could beat it.

Um, he did have a primeape and a butterfree for a while, both both were eventually realeased, butterfree so it could mate, and primape to stay with a trainer to win fighting competitions.

Is ash's Treecko about to Evolve? If you look at the Chapter list at Serebii it saays something vs Grovyle, at the very end. That would be cool if Ash got a Grovyle.

The fact that every time he gets a powerful critter, he just shoves it on some other trainer to "look after for a while," then promptly forgets about it convinces me that he's not worthy of having an Umbreon, or any other Eeveelution.

I'd be fine with Brock having an Umbreon, though...he knows how to take care of Pokémon properly. =/

Slugma, they encounter a herd going up Mt. Chimney, yet they run away from the Pokemon.

Swablu (recent ep), well, May should've had Swablu, but she let it rejoin its family. That was sad in reading the pics of the ep, she should've got the Pokemon. Or Ash could've had the Swablu as well, but then that would be too many bird Pokemon.

Could've had Ash trading for Pokemon, but never does that ever since he traded his Butterfree and felt bad doing it.

I notice half the time in Hoenn, an encounter with a Pokemon results in trainers running away or the Pokemon belongs to another trainer and nobody encounters one in the forest or area to catch. It's always look at the Pokemon, get it on the Pokedex, and move on! What kind of a game plan is that? Us game players look at the Pokemon and either catch or get some points off of it.

Ho-Oh is not extinct..as Ash has clearly seen it...and Ho-oh will only return the day the hearts of pokemon and humans are one well thats according to the show that is
