Block Party Necro

Hey guys, I wonder if you could give me a bit of advice as to how to setup my Block Necro deck. I'm looking to keep it strictly mono black and have a very limited selection of cards. Basicaly I gave all my cards away a few years ago :o

Anyway I love magic and have been making a selection of block decks for casual play.

Here is my IA necro just now:

21 Snow Swamps
3 Lake of Dead
4 Ritural
4 Consult
4 Necro
4 Soul burn
4 Soul spike
4 Contagion
4 Stormgald crusader
4 Knight of Stromgald
4 Garza's assassin

No sideboard needed, its a casual deck but I still respect the banned restricted lists.

I playtested it a little, The Assassins are amazing and cost only £2 for 4 off ebay. they really help with their recursion and creature control in one. Still, I wouldnt want to facea burn deck, I spent alot of time on 1 or 2 life before I could drain for more life.

The parts I am unsre about are whether to drop a swamp from 21 to 20 (with necro its too many, without its not enough), drop an assassin? and whether to put in a couple of 4/5 coldsnap fatties in to replace them. Maybe just swap an assassin for a fatty?
I am always tapping out every turn, mana is valuable, I cant see myself wanting to use non basic lands for card drawing.

Has anyone else had any experience with IA Necro and willing to share their thoughts? I saw a u/b necro with counters for the mirror and replenish and a b/r with 4 sufurous springs for incinerates, but personally dotn think it is worth the splash (especially into painlands) to replace contagions with incinerates. Peraps im missing something:confused:

Finally I thought it odd that no-one was using the 3/4 phyrexians that can be untapped for 2mana, surely these are good vs pro blacks and swarms? :cool:

Soul burn just seems bad to me.
