Voldemorts 'additude' towards Harry *Book 5 Spoilers*

Have any of you noticed how Voldemort seems to be liking Harry less and less in every book? For instance, in Book 1 and 4, Voldemort toyed with Harry, like he enjoyed making him suffer, but in Book 5, he comes and right off the bat he uses the Avada Kedavra curse on Harry. Maybe he is just sick and tired of Harry by now.

It's what you said, Voldemort is just sick and tired of Harry right now. He's toyed with Harry before and where has that got him? As close to death as it gets, thwarted at gaining the Sorcerer's/ Philosopher's Stone, and the entire wizarding world found out he was alive. I forget the quote, but it was something like "Potter, you've thwarted me much to many times and now it msut end." Voldemort realizes that as Harry gets older he becomes stronger, and that is not what he wants. His time is running thin before he ends up facing the greatest challenge of his lifetime.

Well I'm sure after every failed attempt to kill Harry and lose physical form year after year will probably make Voldemort more antsy to kill him.

Of course he just wants him dead by now. Look at him he's made all these elaborate plans trying kill him and he always escapes by a hair... quite frankly i feel sorry for the old guy. I mean if I tried to kill someone 5 times (is it five?) and they hadn't died by now, I'd give up, isn't that common sense?... but thats just me

yeah, it's 5, when harry's 1, and in years 1,2,4,5. i would have toyed with at first, then i would get the hint that he isn't a weakling, and kill him, but that's just me.
