Official Dungeons and Dragons Q&A by mikej

Since I'm usually browsing this part of Pojo anyways I'd thought it would be good to start the official Q&A. Just a small project to waste time when I'm not working.

I'm currently a unemployed Dungeon Master soo I have a lot of free time until winter comes around and we play again. I'll try to answer any question with the best of my abilities but one rule NOO 4th Edition stuff...I play actuall Dungeons and Dragons not Uber-Superheros and Dragons. Also I'm not into Mini soo don't expert a good answer.

I play 3.5 Edition- DMG, DMG2, PHB, PHB2, Complete Psionic, Expanded Psionic, Complete Mage, Complete Warrior, Complete Divine, Complete Arcana, Complete Scoundrel, Complete Champion, Heroes of Horror, Book of Vile Darkness, Book of Exaled Deeds, Races of the Dragon, Dragon Magic, Monster Manual I, Monster Manual II, Monster Manual III, Monster Manual IV, Monster Manual V, Dungeonscape, Dragonlance Campaign Setting, Ebberon Campaign Setting. All books above I'm familar with.

I also create specific Monsters & NPCs if asked but you most state all details on what you want.

Hi, I just barely started playing Dungeons and Dragons again after about a year, and our DM has got a little puzzle for us. We're all level 1 and my characters are a Lizardfolk Druid and a Stone Giant Barbarian. He has an enchanted pool of mud that spans about 30 feet across (if you jump into it, the mud grabs you and pulls you down), and in the middle of the mud, there is a magical barrier. This pool of mud, is more like a moat around a mountain and we need to get to a cave in the mountain. Do you know of any way that my characters could help in solving this little puzzle?

Oh, just in case, this is Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Edition.
